@@meere7403 Aww to be fair the two shows I went to this summer I was on my own, met some great people whilst there though, particularly in Margate, everyone was so friendly 🤗 We all share a love of this group and I enjoy it even more when I'm sharing it with other fans so I say let's be Stronger together and lift these ladies up! Only tickets available though were front row on upper balcony but I think that'll give us a great view. It's a great venue, a favourite of Blondie and that's truly saying something. I used to think Keisha was the weakest of the original three. She can belt but I do think she has a tendency to overreach and miss. But she's sounding better than ever right now - it's very impressive!

I was thinking I like their style and choice of clothes. Maybe I'm very wrong but I wonder if they were able to choose there own clothes or style for recent gigs. I remember in the 3rd regeneration of Sugababes with Keisha, Heidi and Amelle they seemed to have matching colours or styles in performances and it made them seem a manufactured, generuc girl band to me. I can't imagine Mutya and Siobhan wearing some of the things they wore.
@@matthieus2 That's a really good point Matt, I saw Keisha saying that she was "in wardrobe" with a stylist a cpl of days before the Glastonbury gig, so I suspect they had some help on some level, but they've also recently said collectively that they are grown women and that they appreciate being able to make their own choices now, so it wouldn't be a stretch to think the 'babes would choose their own look and a stylist would bring the elements together, but either way I agree with everything you said. I remember on the TiMW tour (the era you referred to) that they had themed clothing throughout and you're right it did feel somewhat manufactured so it will be interesting to see if they "theme" anything on the Oct/Nov tour 😉 ❤

I felt Keisha and Mutya were the heart and soul of the group and it didn't really work without them, but I appreciate now how beautifully the original three blend together and have matured. HAK performed and signed copies of the single, I got to meet them and to be fair they were all lovely, then I saw the same trio in Notts for the TiMW tour and although there were some... dodgy performances, I still had my rose-tinted glasses on. I think it was Catfights when I lost interest in what they were putting out, which was a first for me but I think you're spot on in everything you said! I'm sorry, but just because they were the original lineup doesn't mean they should be held on a pedestal. Remember when Atomic Kittens reformed with Kerry Katona for the Big Reunion and everyone (rightfully) hated it and said they were better off with Jenny Frost? At least the RIGHT lineup reformed last year like they should have done years ago. They've made a big mistake not having Heidi Range with them. The 2.0 lineup was their most successful and the one most people remember. It's not about who/what came first. And it's funny how they are performing all their 2.0 songs, this one included, without one of its members. Unless this reformed original lineup actually releases new material instead of performing their old hits (and switching the parts around - like what's even up with that?), I don't even see the point.

For me it seems to be more of an appreciation for the vocal abilities of this particular trio and also personally, I loved them from their first album, so when Siobhan left it felt like the band I fell in love with would never be the same. That turned out fine for me in the end because I loved what they did in subsequent lineups, the only album I kind of skipped out on was Catfights 😉 but Siobhan coming back for me, was continuing the chapter I never thought I'd get to see, so I was ecstatic and I know others who feel the same. I can't agree on your Heidi point but I totally respect your opinion. If it wasn't for Siobhan and Mutya they wouldn't have reformed in 2013 in the first place, so Heidi didn't factor into that. I totally respect and understand that for you it's about their commercial/chart success but for a lot of fans, the OGs are what started this and now get to carry the torch on, and we are incredibly grateful that we get to see them back together. As far as I could tell, they are performing all of the Sugababes classics as part of their twentieth anniversary celebrations, as an homage in some ways, so again I can't agree with you but totally respect where you're coming from. In terms of the new stuff, I am 100% with you and think that this would be the best way to allay some of the concerns and issues you raised. I personally really enjoyed seeing these songs performed in 2022, with this lineup and the tweaks they've made but it's been done now and they have to look to new matierial to keep things fresh. Hopefully that's what we'll see moving forward 🤞and I'm so grateful for you watching and leaving a comment ❤️
