Hint: put the remote receiver inside a freezer bag. Tape it up and seal it up like it's going scuba diving becsuse more than likely it will eventually go swimming. Mine has survived several dunkings due to taking this precaution.

make sure you unplug the battery for storage or they will be dead when you want to use it as the remote pulls current from the batteries all the time.

Yessir always a good decision to remove batteries from anything when storing devices or vehicles. Good note!

I have a pair of older baby mojos.Mine do not have the hook up for a remote control.so I don't have all the wires that are in your video. Are these compatible with the older mojos.

Vincent Renaud not sure but there’s really only two wires to the motor. If you have a switch you need to place the transmitter in between them. Don’t know for sure your setup but it should work

Don't know if this will make sense without a diagram My baby mojos have the AA battery hookup . There are 2 wires that come off the motor 1 black and 1 red and 2 red wires that come off the switch, . The red wire from the motor goes to the switch and the black wire from the motor goes to the connector tab for the battery pack and the red wire off the switch goes into the connector tab .I n the instruction video after he cuts off the connector on the monster 12 v he has 2 black and 2 red wire's the bottom 2 wires black and red go to the motor he top to wires are supposed to go to the switch but I don't have the a black wire to connect it to

Vincent Renaud okay I see where the confusion is. The the red wire from the switch to the battery must be interrupted by the transmitter.
Clip that red wire after the switch and before the battery clip. Put the transmitter bottom red to the switch and the transmitter top red to the battery clip.
For the black simply clip the battery clip off the black wire,, attach the motor side black to the bottom black transmitter wire and finally attach the top black transmitter wire to your negative battery clip.
      Make sense?

Great how to video... but 4 AA batteries does not equal 9V....it equals 6V, just for future reference...

Colton copy that you are correct sir and I got some incorrect information before the build. The 9v batteries have been working fantastic though so i don’t think they are doing anything bad to the motor.

Logan Bierman sorry sir I only have experience with the baby mojos. The large mojos are plug and play. I’ve seen luck duck mods at Field and Stream near me but never tried them.

Yes but you have to know what you're doing. I've put remotes on a Mathews Motorized Duck and a Lucky Duck.
      You will need a meter.
The remote is basically an rf relay switch. To save loot look at some car and home alarm rf remotes. They're about 1/3 the cost and have close to four times the range as a mojo remote.
