If it's a 4L60e, 4L65e then I wouldn't get the trans temps up above 200 or it'll fry it. If it's a 4L80e, they can take a bit more abuse but don't get the temp above 220. The 10 bolt rear end is also known to explode under alot of abuse, you can hear it whine in the video lol. I do love these damn trucks.
These guys should seriously consider like the movie industry the way they handle pickup trucks is amazing like there's no way you're getting away from them in a Chase if you're driving anything slower than a Chevy they can literally take any shot to shit bag of crap of a Chevy and easily make it do burnouts and drift and God knows what else I haven't seen yet
Oh dude you have no idea then. All longer wheelbase vehicles are amazing to drift sooo smooth and controllable compared to all these little coupes that are snappy as all hell
@@jadensucks4496 and the best part about these older GM pickups is that they can take it in fact they love it they absolutely love the abuse and redlining and squealing till the tires burst
Man I just ran across this video and you guys for the first time. I'm dealing with one hell of a break up, with someone who I thought I knew. This is honestly the first time in a week I've actually laughed hard. So thank you, and you have a new subscriber. 🙏🏻👍🏻
If y'all split, it wasn't meant to be. The right person will come along, just be patient with that and especially be patient with yourself. Cheers mate
When are people going to learn to not test these guys. Out of all the channels I follow and have seen these guys have absolutely ZERO FUCKS to give. Keep killing the game and showing just how amazing these trucks are. They really can take a he'll of an ass whooping (sometimes) and with a locker and an nv3500 you can do some serious skids
Pretty much every vehicle they buy trucks and cars alike have to go through some kind of inauguration which usually involves nitrous flooring the pedal to the peg and doing drifts and burnouts all the tires burst and the radiator shits itself
I remember back in the day my dad bought a 2003 GMC Sierra SLE in 2005. Had the 4.8 V8 in it. He has always been a Dodge person, but he liked the deal on the truck so he got it. I remember the first day we got it. Never saw a truck drift like that or do a j-turn as well as it did. Damn, I miss that truck.
No bs , my grandfather bought an 03 z71 in july of 03 . When we went for the test drive he left some nice strips leaving the lot . He was sold from that point on all
I was watching an autocross event where they would go from wide open to try to stop and three cars slid into the wall because they had no vacuum assist and I was trying to tell them hydroboost brakes are what is required and everybody was saying vacuum is just fine and I'm like yeah right until you go from wide open throttle for a long time and have no vacuum build-up to use from being on the brakes a lot
@@rustedratchetgarage6788 could you put the engine to neutral and rev it theoretically to build up vacuum quicker via the brake booster or is that a totally different system

The best part about these guys especially the one whom does most of the driving and drifting is that they're young they have a long life ahead of them and they could very well turn this into a career
I'm impressed with how the work rig is still running they've been pounding on that thing for the past 5 years and have only done the headers and some Port polish and it's still running
I love this, definitely never did any such activities in my 5.3… never I most definitely did not ever do such things… Only annoying part was my rear diff sometimes didn’t wanna lock up during such “not doing those activities” wish I could’ve hit a button to lock it
This is the shit I live for🔥🔥 love to see people getting down like this 🦅🇺🇸 where can I get myself a hat and or shirt and sweatshirt I need to be repping revtap
Hell yeah Neutral drop In the comments, still enjoy the vids and ready for a motor build. Between the 2 of y’all I know something good would come of it.
The 99-07 Chevy Silverado line up are the best trucks you can get. Engines are all solid, the trucks are tough as nails, the transmissions are decent, and they aren’t hard to work on. Also they still have most modern comforts found in most cars and trucks.
The filming industry could do with guys like you you certainly know your way about handling a full size pickup not to mention proving how durable old GM pickups are
Would be fun to see though personally I'm not a Dodge guy because Chrysler hasn't been keeping up its build quality for the past 20 years but I love seeing pretty much all vehicles new and old being treated hard driven fast and drifting burnouts excetera
Gotta love the 6.0 2500. I love wasting the 5 bucks a gallon in my Elantra GT manual 🙃 its only a 2.0L I dont mind hurting feeling but some people got em set up well and this video made me smile.
That's how it's done folks! Nice work fellas!!!

I can name a few video games new and old where that drift would have easily been worth a couple hundred thousand points no problem
