Yup so this was their debut song, I'm interested in seeing what they bring next.
Xdinary heroes, Jung-su and Gaon actually wrote and also participated in making this song
6:00 when they both started bopping their heads and smiled when the chorus came on
I was waiting for reactions like this for them! I'm really obsessed since they debuted this Monday because it reminds me a lot to Danger Days of MCR (thank you lots to say that, now I'm not alone hahahaha) but I can see Manneskin and TOP there too! It's like living a second teenager time hahahahahahah Sadly, it's just a single, but I really hope they maintain this style in their future songs. First time here, I'm gonna look to your other reactions for kbands. It's always nice to see people with similar background to you in music react to it.
Edit: They sound better live! I recommend you their stage on It's Live, I've seen other people talking about it in other comments.
i think one of the reasons i love xdinary heroes so much is the mix of all the different genres i like, the kpop aesthetic, the rock, the pop, its a bit of a mix of everything good
i agree with ALL of the references/influences you got, the mcr, tøp and måneskin vibes were definitely there… i loved seeing them coming together in this song!

Korean Bands are soooo slept on like IZ and ONEWE (mainstream wise Most Kpop fans have heard of them) My favorite discovery this year was SYNSNAKE who are like metalcore x Kpop Female vocals are hypnotizing. Madmens Espirit is the heaviest Korean band I listen too. They're visual kei and slap 👌

I’m so excited for this band and what they will write/produce next. I’m also hoping this track can shake off the ‘Kpop’ tag (Kpop is not just one genre) and get the recognition it deserves.

I love this song so much as the beat is catchy and also I love the sounds of the guitars and drums and the vocals are also on point

In terms of vibes, this song throws me back to the 00s (which I swear was yesterday) and a teenage me in tutu an an MCR tshirt listening to this and thinking I'm edgy af. I have no idea how old this lot are, but as with every group that debuts now I bet I have cardigans older than them.🙈
Hopefully you could check out DPR IAN - Nerves! He is a Korean born in Australia and the song is pop/rock. DPR IAN directed and edited the mv himself aswell
Xdinary Heroes are just SOOOO TALENTED! I'm a huge fan, I stan them since this song came out, and I'm gonna do it forever, they woke up something in me that was sleeping since my mental breakdown many years ago. They deserve to be known by all! Thank you for making this video, it show me that it can be possible, and that they already made powerful debuts. I wish the best for them, they're gonna go so far, I'm waiting for it, like I said, they deserve to be reconized because of their talents! Oh, and the guy with "Love" hair is Jooyeon, the youngest, and he is only 19yo, and the leader and oldest, Gun-il, the drumler, is 23yo. They are all so young, but their way to play is so perfect like if they where old musicians (I mean musician since many many years), and that's also what make this band so amazing!
Well, we don’t know how their other music will sound, not until they release more music. This is just one song. There’s a bunch of One Hit Wonders out there. I do like this song, though!
So far my favorite K-Pop/rock band is Day6. I’m excited to see if Xdinary Heroes can have a bunch of hits as well!
The fact that this is only their debut song gives me high hopes. This is a breath of fresh air for me. Since I got into kpop this year I haven't encountered any bands besides day6 (who I also love now). their sound is also definitely the most emo/rock that i've heard from a big company so far.
Loving the vibe kick in at 6:01.. it made me chuckle.

Ngl, I'm really curious where they're going with this, 'cause I couldn't warm up with other K-Rock Bands (e.g. Day6, who are under contract with JYPE too or The Rose), but I like their edgy, punk style.

day6 and the rose are both definitely indie bands. most good rock bands in korea are just underrated and don't belong to a company lol
I guess you’re not a fan of the softer vibe those bands have. In that case, you’d probably only really like Rescue Me by Day6 and Strangers by The Rose. I’m personally not picky about rock music, but I understand people who prefer a harder or softer sound over the other.
Songs by Korean bands I know you’ll probably like are some of FTIsland’s stuff like Pray, Take Me Down, What U Want, and Lose.

For TXT I really recommend you to their song 0X1=LOVESONG, and Frost. For Lovesong it's more like pop rock, if you want a reference, my first impression of Lovesong was the vibe and genre reminds me of 5SOS.
And the 2nd is TXT - Frost, this one is more sounds like metal than the previous one (by the song and how they use their vocal, but the music using EDM) if you want to react to Frost I'm more recommend you to the Special Performance Video version (it's like a full-Choreography MV of the song) rather than the MV, bcs I think the vibes and visual of the special performance video for this song suit the song more than the MV.
And the next group is Dreamcatcher, they're K-pop girlgroup which known for their Rock and Metal influence on their music, don't imagine their vocal is like lady rocker, but their music really is and they still sing really good too, I really recommend you to Dreamcatcher - Scream
And the last is ATEEZ, for ATEEZ I really recommend you to ATEEZ - Wonderland, ATEEZ - Black Nero Cat, for ATEEZ actually has quite a lot of rap parts on their songs, idk if you interested to rap too or not, but overall the ones that I recommend to you is ATEEZ's song that I think considered as alternative rock(?), I'm not so sure for wonderland, I can say it sounds more like an anthem, you know that type of song with trumpet and all, but Black Nero Cat is definitely rock

Well it's solo track, not a band or boygroup, and he's from Hongkong, but he's also a member of GOT7 (South Korean Boygroup), Blow is his solo, I can't even say a word for this one, believe me this one is really good, you can react to this one first if you want to

Now finally I'm not alone with getting Danger Days and Twenty One Pilots vibes!!! Their music brought me back to the music I used to be into before delving into Stray Kids.
Oh! To my knowledge one of the guitar players and they guy on the synth took part in writing and producing, I didn't know if it was only them or part of a team, but an article on either Gaon or Naver dubbed them a self-producing band so I'm really excited for what's to come!!!
It is also my favourite debut besides District 9, so I can't wait for them to release more music :D

I think you need to react and review Twice - Alcohol Free, the only Kpop group who using bossa nova genre. They're in the same company with XDINARY HEROES
1. the movie happy deathday was fun, but not scary/horror at all. watched it when i was twelve(?)
2. the mv gives me a lot of jackpot by block b vibes (which is also a very cool song by a great group) and i blame the clowns
3. i never thought about it, but it does give off danger days vibes
4. id love to see you react to poison by pink fantasy. its the most metal ive ever seen in a kpop song and i love it
