UNCLE SAMS GREAT AMERICAN CIRCUS - Chesterfield 2022

It's been far too many years since Uncle Sam's Great American Circus has visited Chesterfield, but at last it has returned . Although not exactly in Chesterfield ,it is but a short run out of town on the very busy Chesterfield - Barlow Road on a superb lush green field opening from 31st March until 10th April 2022 I made my first visit of their stay early Monday morning 28th March in the hope of getting footage of the big top building up but sadly only part of the shows vast amount of transport hadn't arrived including the tent trailer. They had parked almost all the transport on the grass verge outside the ground so managed to film was was there. Going back early evening the same day to try and get shots of the big top in the sun only to find they had only a short while before started to build the big top up, at least all their wonderful array of transport had arrived and I also managed to capture on film the erecting of the King poles, so not all was lost.
