Someone please explain this to me. Whitney’s single that was nominated by this award show was released in 1990. So why was it just now getting nominated in 92 at Soul Train Awards? Why wasn’t it nominated in 90? Just wondering why they’d nominate a 2 year old single.

That was about the only award she got plus a grammy, coz that was her only major hit
