kenkev 1 Don’t worry you’re not missing out. La mer is mainly silicone and petroleum with preservatives and fragrance. Mass produced in huge batches, then slapped into a jar that’s not air proof (oxidizing the few good ingredients it might have) then sits in the stores for months under the strong lights. Silicone is what’s in makeup, it just gives a feel & appearance of soft skin but once u wash it off it goes away and it breaks many people out bc it doesn’t let the skin breathe. Jojoba oil and rose water can do more for the skin than La Mer. Same for Tacha!

Not because my skin is dry, water is nasty, etc.... like tell me what benefits are you actually getting from these products babii girl!!! La Mer is hella expensive and younger girls today wouldn’t even know why to use it if it weren’t for her saying it’s my favorite moisturizer.
