You show a great example of what kurdistan is and what it will always be, a beautiful country with beautiful people. I give you my many thanks to show the world what Kurdistan is and hawler in particular is about. Your videos on UA-cam are warmly applauded and I sincerely hope that you continue this great work for years to come. I wish you maintain this objective and non judgemental while describing different aspects of OUR history, culture and outlook. Thanks.
I mean yeah in Sumerian texts they called her Innana, but in Arbil they called her Ishtar. The Assur - Nineveh - Arbela triangle was the heartland of Assyria not only geographically and geopolitically but also culturally and ideologically. The main temples of the three cities were dedicated to the most important Assyrian deities: Aššur, the lord of Assyria whose earthly representative was the king, and the goddesses Ištar of Nineveh and Ištar of Arbela who were celebrated as patrons and protectors of Assyria. Assyrian king Ashurbanipal even had a dream about Ishtar of Arbil and focused his attention on Arbil, (I myself hypothesize that if Ashurbanipal hadn't built the Library in Nineveh, then he would've moved the Assyrian capital into Arbil) he even celebrated the month of Ab/Shamash in Arbil signifying closeness with his people in the Assyrian city. Arbela, like other core Assyrian cities such as Nineveh, Assur, Kiliz, Dur-Sharrukin and Nimrud/Kalhu were heavily engineered hydraulically by Imperial Assyria. fantasizing is not history. it is true ancient assyrians and mna y other nations ruled Hewlêr for a while but Kurds managed to get it back. the city made by Sumerian/Kurds and called it Orbil then as always Assyrians imigeet from Syria and conquered the city, then changed the name to Arbailu. You nastorians "wanna be assyrian" need to stop barking and show so mutch hats to Kurds on internett. it does not work. Isted move back from west to Syria and make some changes if u have some balls
It wasn't built by any of them... Or no proof of that available anyway. In history the city has been under both Kurdish and Assyrian control, today it is under Kurdish control and nothing says that this will change looking at the circumstances.
@@EverythingaboutKurdistan it will change, look at history and u will see many how came to our land and have disappeared and we always will be here hahahaha
If Kurds want separate country of their own they should follow their roots that reconvert themselves to either Zoroastrian religion or even before that Sanatan Vedic Hindu religion as racially they look like Aryans. Probably basically they must be Aryans practicing Hinduism later on Zoroastrian religion and finally just like most people of this region they also accepted Islam.
I am really sorry to say this to you I really love everything about what you do ….pacifically this video I senes some negativity because I’m a really D D K U R D & one for all all for one & KURD & KURDISTAN
Erbil has always been a Mesopotamian city. Not Kurdish, never was. The Kurds decided to claim it later on, like they claim all kinds of things and history..
@GoodLLama That's what Kurds tell themselves. The Gutians came later, it's not strange that a Kurdish channel/video make false propagandistic claims. And by the way it hasn't been proven that Kurds are actual descendants of the Gutians. Kurds also claim to be descendants of the ancient Medes. So many claims, no hard evidence. Why do they name Erbil "Hawler" while Mesopotamians name the city Arbaelo. Sounds a lot more similar doesn't it? But please, feel free to believe in your fantasy.
@GoodLLama Kurds are an Iranian people and the first known Indo-Iranian in the region were the Mittani who established a kingdom in northern Syria five centuries after the fall of Gutium. The Mitanni are believed to have spoken an Indo-aryan or perhaps a pre-split Indo-Iranian language. The current view is that the separation of Iranian peoples from Indo-Aryans occurred between 1800 and 1600 BCE, which makes it nearly impossible for the Gutians to have been linguistically or culturally Kurdish! Although I do think its possible that they still contributed to a small extent, if at the very least genetically. The Gutians ruled Sumeria for a decade or two indeed. Like many other kingdoms. It is however incorrect to claim Gutian history as a Kurdish people, because it'ss simply not possible. I'm not Assyrian btw, but yes, they speak a semitic language.
@Nani_tiri Hey bro, you speak Kurdish? If so, what dialect? Because you seem to be interested in Kurdish History and I have something to show you if you speak Sôranî. You'll definitely be interested bro.
@Nani_tiri I'm trying to send a Link to this Kurdish Channel but it's not working for some reason. It's a Channel that has an Old Man talking about The TRUE History of The Kurds. He's from Kirkuk and he's really, really clever. Bro trust me, you won't regret spending your time listening to him.
