9:11 fun fact since the brigantine doesn’t have multiple decks a ballast ball will do nothing to a brig, if you use a ballast ball on a sloop it will make the deck with the map table take on water all the time not just when waves go over, on a galleon they make the ship go down and fill both decks at the same time BUT the brigantine is unaffected by the ballast ball
i remember joining this and thinking you were just doing a normal voyage until you went back to the boat with like 8 chests of sorrow and 5 rage chests
i only managed to get the odd chest of rage and chest of sorrow since i have to sell them quick and the chest of a thousand grogs i don't mind stacking since i'm sailing around as a solo pirate
Great video Toxie, also I think I found a method to sorta counteract the chest of grogs movement effect, considering it moves you left and right if you just move left or right towards your target it'll actually make you move a bit faster in whichever direction you choose as opposed to just walking forward, hope this helps if it does actually work.
this is true for the tremous in the devil's roar as well. takes a bit of getting used to but once you do you'll be hearing "what do you do with a drunken sailor" uninterrupted all the way to the gold hoarder tent.

I still hope we get more cursed chest and to have grog chest insta kill megs with alcohol poisoning and for new chest a frost chest making an area 1 shot for a tier 3 hole or chest of hunger where you need to feed it and the hungrier it gets the more it reveals your location or the scrapped whisper chest that give your location but it is delayed
I found that bucketing your bilge water onto a chest of rage actually deletes the water instead of filling that water back into your ship, so it kinda has a use by sitting above the water levels and getting bucketted onto instead of out of the ship
yeah we actually noticed this too, but sometimes it won't delete the water - we're not sure how on fire the chest of rage actually needs to be before it counts

imagine being the sweatlord reapers or the brainless galleon seeing all those chests clearly not analysing them at all and just being determined to get all that totally worth it stacked loot never once realising it was a bunch of cursed chests worth nothing but a headache lmao the galleon atleast were clearly noob-ish from the look of two of them being in like default gear and the fact they were hovering trying to scoop sell the loot like weirdos but the reaper brig, I can guarantee they thought you had tons of pricey loot stacked from something and never actually tried to see what it was, saw that helm covered in stuff and thought "easy million" or smth lol
@@Joe-zr7yg worthless for the Reapers though, pretty sure you can't get Reaper rep from sales anywhere but the Reaper's base, so it wouldnt even be worth their time if they wanted reaper XP since it would be a lot to manage trying to get it there
