Zuidland, the village where we live. Zuidland is a small village (6000 inhabitants) where many people know each other. We have been living there for 16 years now. We live on the edge of Zuidland, where there is a lot of nature. It is quiet and actually we do not often visit the village itself. When we find our dream house we want to live in Hellevoetsluis (my birthplace). It is closer to my mother and we hope to find a piece of land there for our future animals. It is a difficult time, few houses but we keep dreaming.

The BENELUX low countries are all completely delightful. Deliciously like Scandinavia; wealthy, erudite, healthy, gun free and socially very comfortable. I always adored my nine years there.

Beautiful village and such tame sheep, I howled with laughter when Fred ran to get away from the flies, the tune was most fitting, and I wondered if he knew you were going to add it. I went to The Netherlands when I was in my teens, I loved the flatness of it especially for cycling, and the bulb fields were amazing, thank you for sharing.

Jullie twee blijven ons verbazen! Bedankt voor de rondleiding door Zuidland. Het dorp is schattig en klein, net als thuis. Thuis, ik bedoel waar mijn ouders verbleven tijdens de 2e wereldoorlog. Fred krijgt bier, voor de smaaktest na het eten toetje! Ik hield van de schapen en Fred die voor de dazen rende. Je moet een soort natuurlijke insectenspray bij je hebben om ze bij je weg te houden. En ik vond het "kak"-schot niet erg. Het was realistisch, dat is wat dieren doen! Nogmaals bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid om ons op de hoogte te houden van de avonturen van Loulou en Coco. Het zijn echt jouw avonturen en we houden ervan. Het maakt ons aan het lachen elke dag hebben we een traktatie zoals wat je doet.
Hi Eveline! Zuidland is beautiful! Keep the tours coming! I love stone cottages. Can you apply for a permit to raise plants or animals or do an animal boarding and grooming business so that you can acquire more land? There should be a way around something if you can secure a permit and business license. Leader Loulou never ceases to amaze me. She faced those ewes head on! I have never seen sheep that close up. They reminded me of clouds. I thought that Lou would would gravitate towards the black one. Notice she got right up to the top of the fence! The pooper bloopers were funny. Poor Fred! How did he get downwind of horse flies? I am sure that he will especially enjoy his beers today! I still get a kick over those labels. Take care. 😉 🐑 🍺 🍻

Eveline, I enjoyed the tour of your town where you and your family reside, it's very "lovely." Anyway, I fortunately live in an area with wineries and breweries...so being able to walk around the countryside and enjoy the small life pleasures are a must...when I can truly enjoy it. What a wonderful village, loved the sheep coming up to you it reminded me of the film called Babe, ( about a little pig who had a friend who was a spider and the pig asked the sheep for help). Your village is pretty. Quant. Narrow streets. Very clean. And your country side is awesome. Flat. Lots of water. Who do the sheep belong to? I could watch that video for hours. Your village is so beautiful and quiet. Lots of farmland. I hope your government doesn’t sell to foreigners. I didn’t see any people around. Love Loulou sniffing the sheep. So curious. Fred running from the horseflies was hilarious and the pooper/ blooper made me laugh. I hope you find some land by your mom. Looks like Paradise--for people and dogs
My hometown. Very quaint. Love it. Can't imagine I'll ever stop visiting it regularly. The watch tower at the edge of the nature reserve is always a favourite spot of mine; a great retreat. The polder area that's part of the Zuidland territory actually reaches pretty far and is one to behold. So many great cycling routes along rivers, creeks, connecting with the other villages as well.

Not everyone who lives in the USA hates it. We live in a small town that has acreage and small parcels. Many horses,Cows chickens and lakes here in Florida. To hate each other u must live in the city. If u hate it so much you should definitely move. Zuidland looks very beautiful. Maybe someday we will get the chance to visit your county. U are a great ambassador for your country. We also have 2 dachshunds.

What a lovely peaceful village that you live in! We were in Amsterdam and the Netherlands three years ago and had the opportunity to be there for the Kuekenhof Gardens Flower Festival. It was so spectacular. Loved touring some of the villages!
