I must say that this is worth its price. It saves time, as it is so handy! In many cases, it translates directly into euros in my work if I can manage to film more efficiently.
It’s worth comparing the 2. I have 2 of the Zhiyuns with the collapsable soft box I run off of Power banks and I will never be caught without these in my travel bag.
I think it's a real solid light. I wish it had a traditional bowens mount. Also when I charge mine up to 100%, as soon as I unplug the charger it drops to 82%. If anyone has any insight on that I'm all ears.
Glad you enjoyed! It's a sweet light. It's actually like $150 right now for black Friday. Really good deal. Too bad it doesn't have an app but still really like it
I'm trying to decide on a single light for weddings when shooting receptions... Do you think that the dome diffuser on this would spread the light enough for say, wedding party around the cake shot? .. or should I just look at LED panels? . thanks!
Hey man, great review! Do you think these would be bright/last long enough for filming weddings? Particularly the dancefloor and for toasts. I like the idea of a built-in battery but I’m afraid that the power to battery life ratio would be an issue. It looks like you get around an hour at 100% at a full charge?
I think they would yes. I highly doubt you'd need to be at 100% to light a dance floor at a wedding. Honestly probably only like 30% or less. But even if you do need to be at 100%, it comes with a long usb-c cable so you can plug in a battery at the bottom of the stand or attach a v mount to it and use a short cable. Lots of options to get you through the wedding
Personally the size and built in battery is the big one for me. Not sure which lights you're comparing to or what you film most often, but those 2 things alone make it very useful in my case. Also the price seems great to me🤷♂️

I agree as well. Great light
Just got ours in today. Can't wait to put it through the paces.

Hey, great video, I’m definitely going to be taking a look at this light!🙂
Definitely worth looking in to! Wish it had an app to control it but the built in battery is nice

Cool video ! Could you suggest a very strong RGB one 60-100W that is compact size and lightweight ?
Checkout colbor cl60r-100r
Good enough to also cover photography in low light?
I'd think so. I mean it's a 60w light

Thank you so much for the reply! Sounds like a deal to me!
This light is honestly just "meh" to me. I can't see a scenario where this is worth it's price point over other option in the market.

@@DustinArmstrongProI agree and usb c charging and option to use a power bank 🏦 to well worth its weight
was about to buy this and then saw it doesn't have bowens mount. never mind.
Has a mini one. They did say they may make an adapter though but yeah as of right now no Bowens mount
