Yes, its best use is a home/residential living. It depends on how much of the land you want cleared. My guess it about $2,000 to get a nice path to the back and have it all cleared there so it is like a park setting. I think you can get about 4 acres cleared for that price if memory serves correct. They use a masticator machine. I believe they can do all that in one day too.
Hi John could you provide the address please ? Closed to the Round Mountain Garden supply store please? when I have a chance I could like to go and look around the area.. Thank you
Unfortunatly, there is no address on this vacant land. It is about 1 mile before that store. As you come from Redding, it is just after the steep 2 lane up hill part on hwy 299 and just a bit before the Buzzard Roost Rd turn off. The directions are on my website. MountainValleyLand.com
Can people in California burn gas and diesel? I have looked at land many times in CA, But everything I have burns gas and diesel. I have never had good luck with batteries.
That seems very expensive in the long run. So much sun here to take advantage of solar. Not sure if you can use gas as a full time use if you are living fulltime at a house, as the norm is electricity here and by either solar or grid power. There are emissions standards and setback rules etc. That being said, there are some people that just use a generator for power but they don't run it very much and I don't think their "home" is permitted. Most people use generators for back up power and not a primary power source.
@@MountainValleyRealEstate Many people use diesel now around the world because it burns so clean and is so much cheaper than electricity and natural gas. China, Australia and many nations in Europe would be good examples. I know many people that also have a hard time in Cali with diesel trucks. This is a very big problem for me. Myself and many. many other people I know stopped hauling fight to Cali for this reason. Not sure if this is the reason stuff is so high in CA. Or if it is all the Sun and people wanting to live in CA.
Blackberries and traffic noise....sounds great.
One needs to get to the back of the property with a little more brush cutting. It goes back from the highway pretty far if you saw the aerial image.
Let’s go! New property. 👌
Love your videos. Used to live in Northern California up in the mountains Foothills anyway
My aunt lives in Pollock pines ca
Thank you so much! Great to hear!!
At 8:00 yes that is a rose bush, those are spent flowers, called rose hips.
Thank you! That is impressive. A wild rose bush.
What is this property use for? For living (like building a house?) or something else? How much it will cost to clean up the bushes and trees?

BlackBerrys can mean black bears they love them
I'm only afraid of grizzly bears and we don't have any here. Plus I have Bigfoot on my back, literally. LOL
@@MountainValleyRealEstate yes grizzlies are vicious but some black bears can be just as vicious in certain situations
Does it snow up there?
A little bit.
