I tried really hard to not cry I didn't cry but I could feel the tears on my face 😭😭😭it's not far he died not to mention after his death we had to play as a John and he can't swim💀
He died watching the sunrise. It means that while he fades away, the others that did make it out, rise from the gang's ashes to get a better life. In the end, all he wanted was to amend for what he had done and help others in this time of crisis; he did not care if it came at the cost of his own needs (wanting to be buried watching the West), as long as his friends thrived in his absence.
When he said remember all the fine times we had I sat there and remembered all the things I did with him and then I started crying god this game knows how to mess with a man’s feelings
Walter White and Dutch are very similar, in terms of always being greedy when they have enough or too prideful when someone offers help or disagrees with them and they always have a plan to get something or somewhere and always making the wrong decision when all they need to do is listen to the people they're working with
I think we can all agree Arthur and John have morally been our role models since we were kids. Ever since RDR2 came out Arthur’s morals never left my mind.
“I ain’t in the revenge business Dutch” That quote stuck with me since my first play through it honestly made me realize a whole lot about morality and doing the right thing.

"Be loyal to what matters" is actually so good. So many people are just loyal for the sake of loyalty. But what is loyalty worth if the thing you are loyal to is bad? Be loyal if you believe the cause is good. And that applies really good to the gang life of these two.

Arthur was a good man. Through and through. Almost wish there was a way to see how he was meant to act throughout every interaction in the game. He seems so merciful, even when he was at his deadliest. Perhaps those that can’t do, teach.
The fact that he asks to be turned towards the west to watch the sunset just for that to be his last moment and last breath is the single most heart breaking thing i can think of
I just realized that when Arthur was talking about looking to the west to face the setting sun he was describing his death.. he died the way he wanted to
