It's quite something to be able to make an F-Type SVR sound quiet. I know this isn't the road legal version, but I hope the production version is loud (at least when fully revved out).
F type is gonna have the same engine from 2021! Very interesting to see what jag has to offer in order to make it sound better !
manos zervas I was hoping they would hybridise their supercharged V8 instead, but this is a great engine nonetheless. Perhaps they should have gone with AMGs V8, as that the best sounding of the turbo charged rivals.

I don't like this sound. 15 years ago my father had Opel and when exhaust pipe burned out/brake it sounded like this. It was loudest car in neighbourhood for few days until repaired. I was feeling shame.

All the engines are 4.4 l
It sounds different because of the cross-bank exhaust manifold. This particular M8 sounds miles better than any V8 BMW today. Stock M8 definetly won't sound this good.

@MrPotato It's not that easy in Germany. It's not only to pay a fine (about 300,- € in Germany). You have to rebuild all the modifications because every car has a max. allowed db (A) volume level.

The 8-Series looks good overall but I can't get over how it looks like a FWD coupe, like a muscled up Honda Accord Coupe. The hood is too high which results in a high belt-line as a result. Design elements are also very reminiscent of Asian cars. If someone told me it was a KIA I wouldn't doubt them. It's a great car but it just screams "Meh".
