They did one of my favorite dinosaurs such justice, I’m more than stoked with the sounds, behavior, and ESPECIALLY the animations Also glad to see it scales with the other megatheropods

I dunno, the animations where they scratch themselves with one claw definitely have to be inspired at least somewhat by Prehistoric Planet cuz they're so similar. Because of that and Barbaridactylus being added, I bet that at least someone at Frontier must be a fan of PP. XD Edit: Also THAT KILL ANIMATION WAS UNEXPECTED INDEED! Wow!
I love the fact that its kill on the Allosaurus was due to a big kick to the head. So many herbivorous (or I guess omnivorous) dinosaurs would have been able to inflict intense blunt force trauma with kicks and swings of their tails... It's nice to see an acknowledgement of that sort of power -- especially in a hefty, bipedal dinosaur, where it's so appropriate to demonstrate a powerful kick. The design of its patterning and especially that tail shape remind me very much of a giant anteater... I'm guessing that's where they got at least some of their inspiration.
I am so happy Frontier didn’t make the Deinochierus a weakling in the game and made it an absolute badass fighter. The Deinochierus is by far my favourite of the bunch with Sinosauropteryx being second.
The fight ending animation reminds me of "Amazing Dinoworld" where a Deinocheirus and Tarbosaurus get into a fight and they clutch and roll with each other at one point.
I love herbivores that are a therapod of sorts, or can become relatively similar to one (like parasaurolophus), and I adore dinosaurs with feathers, so this dinosaur feels like it was made for me and I love it so much
the coolest part? i'm sure deinocheirus didn't mean to kill the allo like that, if you look, it turns around quickly, expecting the allo to fight but it realizes its dead. the sheer force and weight of the deinocheirus's foot accidentally paralyses the allo by kicking it's occipital nerve area
This is so nice. a Prince of Tennis reference in which the two are just rubbing their necks like Ryoma and Sakuno are blushed and then they just rub their chests nervously. It's like they're embarrassed. 😆
I Have a feeling that the kill animation with the allo was a reference to the amazing Dinosaurs world/plant were a Mother Deinocheirus fights a Tarbosaurus to protect her Hatchling and during the fight she Bites on to its neck to Push it to the ground only to Fall on top of it and roll like the Animation
I was honestly worried that the Deinocheirus would be a giant pushover like the hadrosaurs, but thankfully Frontier gave it the ability to fight back. The way it attacks the Allosaurus is super brutal and awesome.
I love how we have all collectively agreed and decided that deinochyrus looks like it does, considering we only have the arms and a hand full of ribs and vertebra to go off of
the thing that baffles me is that the deinochyrus is part of the gallimimus family, and for whatever reason i really want an animation for all herbivores so that way the hunt can fail, like for example a raptor hops on a gally and the gally kicks it away

Regarding size, ya people need to realize the bloody Rex is larger than ANY of the film tyrannosaurs, is almost 6 meters tall. Ya can't really compare something like deino with the absurly oversized mega theropods and complain it is too small.

Is a bit of a shame honestly, given that the game lacks habitat enrichment every little bit counts to make the animals a bit more unique, wich a bit of a shame when you have a Tarbosaurus sized Albertosaurus while something like the Paachyrhinosaurus actually has a normal size.
Is it possible that finishing animation with large Theropod fight is actually a reference to the scene from Amazing Dinoworld where Deinocheirus fighting Tarbosaurus to protect it's baby?
This really make me want the option for deeper water in enclosures. It feels so wrong to have these big swamp based creatures not have deep water to live in and just have 5 inches worth of water to stand it.
I wish it was a lot stronger given that it had to defend itself from the likes of Tarbosaurus, which, there's a good chance of eventually being adding to the game.
best kill in the entire game not even close, i was hoping yutyrannus would punt a human like an ostrich but this more than makes up for it in unexpectedness and sheer personality, it just happens to kill the predator because its a massive unit.
