I like how many might complain about what you get for the price yet plan to immediately replace every single plastic /stock part with $500+ in aluminum. All they do is run the truck for 5 minutes indoors and are ready to drop $300 for a brushless setup.
Main concern with the platform is storage charge. Is there even a way to storage charge the batteries? Is the car fast enough to take trailing even with the slower motor?
One method is to fully charge and crawl it for roughly half the time a 100% charge will last crawling. Not precise, but it works from what I understand.
haha our local hobby shop sold out immediately, our local shop said they aint suppose to sell them yet but he wasnt gonna make us all wait so he said fuck it and sold em all the day they came to him in the mail
Awesome video y'all! Did you happen to know what the maximum angle that the Defender is able to climb forward without flipping back? I was able to find the Bronco, but not the Land Rover.
I would assume it is worse due to the Landover being taller. Also the Landover has more body overhand which would reduce approach and departure angels.
@@valkyrie2267 I think I know the video you got the bronco stats from, I would expect the defender to be around the same as the scx24 bronco. Probably 42-44 degrees vs ~49 degrees on the 4M bronco
@@valkyrie2267 should be awesome either way! I like the look of the defender so I might just have a shiny new defender body ready to throw on anytime I put it on the shelf 😁 use the bronco for performance purposes
Just bought a RED DEFENDER for myself, my 6 year wont be happy 😂....great video thanks brother 😎👍
No problem 👍 Thanks for watching!
Great video. Nice production.
Thanks for watching!

Yea upgrades are very optional on these trucks. Great out of box and better with hop ups.
Getting the bronco on Friday but the next production run the defender will be in the fleet
Sounds like a great plan!

Very good questions! I'm sure more information about these will be coming out soon.

I want the silver/grey defender and the black or white bronco, there so cool 👍😀 subscribed 👍 😀
They are very cool! Thanks for the sub!
That was some great footage of getting around. It does seem a bit jumpy on the throttle when getting over an obstacle.
I thought it performed way better than I expected personally. It does help to have a good driver when I shoot vids!

aaaah well that kind of screws up the coordinated launch. lol

@@DannyO0917 I figured that and am prepared for it, just looking to see if anyone had any real measurements

@@V8chump That's roughly what I'm expecting, but I guess we'll see next Friday!

For me personally nothing under 1/10 😅
Exception's: Tanks and truck's
Fair enough!
No one calls them" hop ups" anymore.
