The 98 car at 1:41 was my grandpa owned it bill Krug construction in the side and front that’s badass to finally see a video of it running instead of pictures
Yo Aron you still around ? My grandparents lived next door to Mr Alex Morales who owned XLNT Alex foods. We were always at Ascot rooting for the tamale wagon. Alex would bring some tamales over that were amazing. I found a place that sells those amazing tamales here in AZ. 🤤Pretty cool eh.
@@aammdj He certainly was driving back then. I don't know if he was running full-time with the Outlaws or not, but he was running Outlaw shows all the same. So yeah, "Steve Kinser had arrived." He just wasn't at this show is all.
I am looking for any information i can find on a 1979 red #7 Champ Car series, NANCE chassis that was sold and shipped to Australia. It has Dan Swanks Engineering on the side but we have had no luck following that lead... Any information is greatly appreciated
Have you tried the HAMB? Their vintage sprint car thread is visited by the likes of Shaw, Caruthers, Parsons, and many old timers, and open wheel collectors. Post it up there and get ready to know everything about your car.

I'm the current owner of the yellow #00 car driven by Tim Lightfoot seen gently backing into the wall at 1:30.
What a lucky man you are. Who built it? Is it a Stanton?
Bettenhausen was disabled with is arm after an accident and drive this monster of 650 hp, Bravo.
I attended a CRA race in 1984 and 1985 at Ascot Raceway.
Thanks
"Bettenhausen is running 10th" - didn't hear that phrase much at at 1970's sprint car race.
I believe Bettenhausen was running a silver crown car, it looked awfully long. He might have had it out west for some other event and just drove it.
These actually were "The good old days"
Not until Steve Kinser arrived.
