Singel or Not?
Proverbs 18:24 says: "If you want friends, you must make yourself friendly." Dating is a wonderful way to communicate and to efficiently assess someone character and personality. It is through communication that we identify the qualities and dispositions others possess. We have the freedom to communicate without fearing someone reaction as we would necessarily do if we were physically in their presence.
It Starts With Me
Not only do we have to control of ourselves in order to have relationship with others, we have to have a relationship with ourselves. Relationships with others work much better when we can get along with ourselves.
God Is Not Your Mate
You may ask how can man be alone if God is there? The fact is that God doesn't play the part of our physical or social partners. Our relationship with God is spiritual only.
Prayer Won't Satisfy You
When our eros is pulling us out of control, our spirits keep up, so we must fight to stay aligned with God regardless of our circumstances.
Who Desires to Be Alone?
Because God designed us to be social and physical, no matter how high in the Holy Ghost we are, we all still desire tangible companionship.

I believe this is one of the top bishops in the world...every time I listen to him, NJ always have a word that I never heard of before. God bless this man of god and every woman and man of god!

just came to me.. Certain people need to stop thinking they need people, when all they really need is God! Of course its always nice to be around someone, but our dependance should be on God not the persons.

I quite understand when he said prayer will keep you, but it will not satisfy you. Think about . There'd be just one prayer.
It keeps you grounded ...
But we keep going back to God in Prayer cause there's still and always will be something that needs filling.You can't be satisfied .There always a need ( in whatever way ) to keep seeking God.

Heh i agree with you... The fact of the matter is the ratio men to women is very unbalanced. There are waaaaayyyyy more women on earth than man. So technically ,unless polygamy is involved, everyone can't get married... Just a thought ^_^

@Prophets4Christ Just because your single... doesn't mean you're alone... paul was rarely alone.... he was with Barnabus, Mark, Silas, Timothy, Luke... etc. God didn't say it's not good that man should be unmarried... He said alone. We need companionship, not necessarily marital or sexual but human interaction... fellowship one with another. It is in Unity that God commanded the blessing to flow (Psalm 133)

@skubi08 what the word says in spite of the experience of others. We are to preach the gospel and him that recieveth and is baptised as a result of faith in the promise of GOd shall be filled. We are not coomissioned to preach our experience. For he that believeth not is damned because he believes not. not because he experiences not. Now A Pretext is when you take a thought or oppinion and find a scripture that uses a like phrase or word but the context does not support the argument.

So then why wasn't Adam satisfied? All he had was God, yet God acknowledge that Adam needed something else. Human interaction is necessary. No a woman can not satisfy my soul. But praying doesn't satisfy my need for companionship.

@brotherfrank62 Prophecy is not just foretelling. Its also declaring the truth of God with boldness. God did not stop giving the gift of prophecy with the finished Word of God. Prophecy can also be a foretelling of whats to come as the Holy Spirit gives revelation it wasn't only to "write the Bible" as you suggest. Please do an indepth study of the word prophecy my friend. And then read Acts 2 and pay attention to verse 17.
This is not scriputral. notice the lack of word baking? Read the gen account and see if you can take this text or is it what we call a Pretext.

Joseph in the Bible was a dreamer and his dreams came truin the future even though he was not believed!! now God being real u can feel Him and you can touch Him as well, u will kno wen u have touched Him! @cowheadtv, when God talks to you, does he shout down from heaven or do you hear your conscience? It is not a voice you hear. It is your conscience. The mind is used to conceive these things and make you believe that these things are real. Then you have have these so called charlatans that come along and try to manipulate your mind. @skubi08 In seminary training this is a disqualification for preaching truth. Your premise may be true but the scriptural application can not be supported or followed from the text which is read. Sadly in todays churches this passes for great sermonizing. It goes unchecked because the audience is unread in the word. there is a difference between reading and reciting scripture., Missinterpretation missapplication and misslocation of scripture leads to Error, Heresy, and Apostasy.
