I want you to imbed a pearl in the seashell! The seashell just like this, use one of the interference that looks most like abalone or mother of pearl and place the pearl into the shell before you top it! Idk if it would work but it would be fun! I love these!

It's sounds like you want insert part to stand out maybe after dusting add clear resin in shape area then add ur black as top coat to help shape stand out.? Really pretty, you should try dusting your chameleon powders on your inserts and then placing them in the clear resin. I've had good luck doing it that way.
You might try just mixing the tritons demise in the actual resin instead of using black resin, just a thought! I like the silver black shell coaster out of all the ones you’ve done! Thank you for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
They’re really pretty, and remind me of those old-school holographic stickers. That said, I think a blue background would have served better than the black for your goals. Maybe with a blue/white/pink interference powder?
Hi Julie. I have bout many of your molds and they are such great quality. I just saw you spray your mold before you poured your resin. What did you spray it with? Does this help preserve the mold?
What if you dust on the black before you pull out the inserts so no mixing of color cause you see what hit the resin first so if the light is on the black no issues. Or dust the bottom in the black and the inserts with the light then put the inserts at the bottom and pour the rear n over the top then fill the back after its cured

With brushing your inserts if you start in the center and work out you get less spray. I learned that doing my sea turtle key chains.

Maybe you should mix the black powder in the resin instead of brushing it on
Try the mica powder in some alcohol, it’s easier to control as it does fly into areas you don’t want it to.
