I find this woman so adorable! She reminds me of my (former) sister-in-law (Janine) from Chicopee, Mass. (I am from San Jose, CA).
BUT more important, she has the ability to teach, explain things so you can proceed with confidence. I actually have now "cooked" her recipe three times with enormous SUCCESS! I am currently using the Breville counter top air fryer, but also love and use my Instant Pot 8 quart Duo Crisp; have done this in both with great results. Sincerely, the entire meal of selected vegetables, meats and carbs, juicey and moist, . The counter top oven is easier to use because it is easier access to the food, but I have been having an excellent, high gourmet-functioning kitchen experience ... I almost have excluded my industrial grade Giant Viking range - saving $$ on my crazy large PGE bill. (PGE will hate it). (Pacific Gas and Electric). Shhh, don't tell them.
Thank you. PS get the best Prime Rib you can - do not skimp.

We had an 8 pound prime rib for New Year’s Eve that we prepared in the regular oven. I came out absolutely perfect, but yours came out every bit as good. We will have to get a different style air fryer to do it like yours.

That was a big win!!!! Enjoy your roast. Great to know.I always get the bone in roast. Had that for new Years. I wonder if it would work with the ribs in it. By the way I also use garlic powder along with the salt and pepper but not the Rosemary.

I bet it would work for the bone-in but you'd have to drop the temp or wrap it halfway through because I have a feeling the heating element would cause it to crisp up a little too much, ya know?

@AdventuresinEverydayCooking I had a lot of fun last year researching the coney dog. There are guys with channels dedicated to trying coney dogs around Michigan- it seems like they are everywhere a true cultural icon for the area. I wrote down a few recipes but the one we have made over and over is from a video on Amy Lyn's Kitchen (UA-cam) the video is called Authentic Greek Hot Dog Sauce Recipe - its really good as a hot dog topping - (blending it is a great move) and I always use sweet Vidalia onion and mustard on top. It's different from just putting your favorite chili on a hot dog. Hope you have fun with it.

That looks oh so good! Question would you wrap all beef roasts or just the prime rib roast? Thanks 👍

If you want the roast to continue to rise to the ideal temp, def wrap. I don't wrap my steaks though... just roasts.

Oh my! Losing all that lovely au jus! Been there, done that, lol. Actually I was wondering if you could do a beef roast in the sous vide and finish it off in the air fryer. Tried that?

@AdventuresinEverydayCooking I actually tried it last weekend. 9 hours in sous vide at 125, then followed your air fryer instructions until it reached 140, about 1/2 hour later. I got lots of compliments. It was a top sirloin roast.

Follow up question: what is the dish you prepared and feature about six seconds into your opening sequence video? Meat loaf? Beef roll? Whatever it is, it makes me want it every time I see it.🙂 is there a video on that dish?

I am thinking about sous vide my prime rib. It's a 4 pounder to 125 for 5 hrs, and then put it in my air fryer. Just to get the crust on the outside at 450⁰ 4 minutes each side?
