    Great video. Great pitch. If I didn’t already have a nearby dealer, I’d be hitting you guys up for sure.
    Winging is a nuanced sport (much to the chagrin of RN). I think the majority of 1-2 year riders are in that free ride category, soaking up the different disciplines like sponges and formulating where their next gear choices should take them. Unless the buyer is in the marketplace consuming all of the feedback and info that is coming out like a fire hose, you guys are the resource for pointing the way. Cheers!

    As a 52 year old wannabe surfer, a boom handle is nice (like on the Duotone Slick). I am still learning to flag the wing and balance on a wave without wing support. In the meantime the boom allows me to sail down a wave with one hand (or two hands close together) and use the wing to help rebalance or save myself from falling. It’s kind of like a little hang glider that I hold over me. Having a blast and catching 100 times more waves than the surfers waiting for their perfect waves. My guess is that eventually when I’m confident to flag the wing, another wing might be a better option. Boom handle also makes learning to gybe much easier.

      For sure, fully agree with your points and I've said similar in my previous Slick and Slick SLS reviews. Thanks for sharing your experience! -Tucker

    Hi Tucker, you never put that i icon link in the video, nor in the description of the video. The link you said to a blog, from Aaron, I think you said? Couldn't hear very clearly from the video.

    Hi Tucker, thanks for the video. You were going to do a video on the new Starboard TakeOff board. Seems like you guys at MacKite (at least going by your website) are now carrying the TakeOff instead of the WingBoard. Can you please do a quick review video of the TakeOff and why you think it's better than the WingBoard? Thanks.

      Great suggestion and it is on the schedule but not for a while. To sum it up.... the Take off is lighter, has less drag, has better dims, and is slightly cheaper. We've found it to be the superior product for most riders. - Tucker

    Could a good wingfoiler use the board and spotz foil I use for kiting? It’s quite a racey foil for kiting - 30-32mph top speed

      In high winds, yes. In fact, most wing racers are using kite foils these days. - Tucker

    Simple question 😁 unit or mantis? Best!

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  2 роки тому +2

      Great question! Both are top-notch wings. The Unit handles are better IMHO and it has more grunt but less forward pull and speed. The Mantis is a bit more well-rounded with more range into higher-powered riding before getting overpowered. -Tucker

      @@MACkiteboarding Thank you very much for the comment... I'm thinking about buying a mantis...
