I too love your Norma swatch its beautiful and the colors are perfect. I too am an English knitter, I have tried continental and I also throw which is the movement you alluded too. It is a big move and it probably slows me down but I always come back to it, it’s my safe zone. I will say that with color work I have managed to used Continental for one color and English for the other and it works quite well, not the most pleasant but it beats dropping the yarn! I like the way you ended the podcast so true!
If it works for you, then that's great 🙏🏻 we shouldn't force something that doesn't feel natural! I might attempt knitting continental with one color then (though maybe not for this sweater, as I'm scared it'll change my tension too much 😬 Thanks for watching❤️
I really like your Norma swatch and the colors you picked!! I want to make the norma too but deciding what color is difficult for me - so many beautiful options! And the Cargill has also been on my list for so long now!! I just need to cast it on, I am intimidated by the stitch pattern 😅
Thank you ❤️ it's definitely a struggle to choose colors, especially if you're ordering online (like I did)! What I did was taking screenshots of each color and putting them side by side to see if I liked them together! Wasn't as great as comparing in person of course, but it did give me an idea of the final look 😊 I definitely am intimidated too haha but sometimes we just have to take the plunge... do let me know if you end up casting it on 😊
My pleasure 🥰 I'm hoping it'll hold me accountable to finally cast on the bralette 🙈 Thanks for the suggestions ❤️ I'm not in love with those cardigans but I do like the look of them so I'll definitely keep them in mind if I don't find anything else!
