I like how you did that clean install! I used to install blue lights when I was a volunteer FF so I can totally appreciate keeping the wiring and install neat and tidy. Not sure if I would choose the same upgrade as this customer, but I can definitely understand why they might due to having seen my share of dumb drivers on the road. Thanks for sharing!
Wow,nice detailed install Cody!!! I've also upgraded my horn on my 01 CB750 Nighthawk (nothing sized like the Trumpet on this dude's bike!!! Lol.),but it was practically the same size and wire-setup that the original one was,so there was no need to rewire anything! Just used the same exact factory wire-connectors and it plugged right into the new upgraded horn! Thanks for the video Cody! Enjoy watching all your videos!!! : >)
Great technicals skills at work and I do aggree with your warning at the beginning of the video. One lady frooze on his driving wheel when I smash my soft horn to warn her last week end, she has been scared unfortuatly. Best Regards ! Jeff
Remember, if you're not using a lighter, your heat shrink won't get any tighter! I exclusively use the 'Rotisserie' method, but when available, I prefer a torch lighter.....(seems to shrink everything more evenly) Great Install, you have a better eye & more patience than I would have had.......
I installed mine on the front fender. It's not that loud at speed but definitely helps in close quarter city driving. 2004 vtx1300. P.S. It scares cows 🐄 in the pasture 😅.
I'm trying to install my horn but I blew the fuse I hooked it up wrong. For some reason I can't get the relay right it came with the relay installed and wired. I plugged it in the horn doesn't work one side to ground one side to switch leg. And I did I hook it up wrong?
@@TheMotorcycleMD in the Uk 🇬🇧 a ‘cone cutter’ and I thought in the USA 🇺🇸 a ‘uni bit’ ! Great vids dude! Thanks 👍🏻Of all the bast**d loud horns you’ve installed which do you consider to be the loudest and best quality?
I love what you did with the heat shrink on the connectors. I am going to do that from now on. Thanks!
Thanks man! Use it!

I'm happy you said the pros and cons of load horns.
Loud.

Jesus Christ is Lord! Be saved before too late ⏰ 🙏
Great point!
Very good and I learnt something new. Didn't know there was such a thing as liquid insulation tape.
Subscribed.
Good job with the liquid tape. I learnt something today. :)
Loud horns save 😂lives!
Horny lives matter
So do loud pipes😊🤔😎

Cool I have a horn I'm getting ready to put in my heritage
Looks awesome,..... would be nice to know how many $$$'s that thing cost
No idea! Lol
I think I saw a Honda PC800 in the background, what year is it?
Oh yeah, great instructional video also.
You can’t remember! I hate those dang bikes lol
@@TheMotorcycleMD Sorry, I must have forgotten. They are a pain to work on!
I'd not seen one that color before, that's what got my attention.

It's called a step bit.
There it isssssss
The trumpet mount is the weak point. I had two of the MotoHorn brand break on me.
Oh know! That's a bummer. These ones felt like metal but I suppose we will see!
Step bit is what you are using.
Bingo!! Step bit!

The first of the part of this video is really common sense…with a super loud horn….don’t be a dick! Use it when you need it… not to scare people
Agreed! But I’m sure we both know a few people who don’t use that sense too often 😂 👌🏻
Step Drill !
Wow. Only thing better would ba an aaaauuuuggaaaa horn
