I agree wholeheartedly with both of you, Bilal Abbas khan is a brilliant actor. Can’t wait to see his performance in Ishq Murshid. I also agree with Hassan, Both Yumna and Bilal had their work cut out for them in “pyar kay sadqay” and they performed to their highest level. Those were not easy characters to perform. Bilal was so good in Kuch Ankahi as well, his performance was so subtle, exactly what his character needed.

Aamna's comments on Sehar make me so happy. She has been working hard for the last 5 + years and I am so glad she is finally getting recognized. Her IV yesterday was amazing. The clarity in her thoughts and the way she was so composed and mature all throughput - especially refreshing and surprising because we know what a live wire Sehar is. The way she knows how to carry herself depending upon the situation and place is amazing. Also loved the interaction between Sehar, Mahira and Yumna.
Bilal is incredible. True that you feel proud of him for some reason. I liked how he chose different kinds of roles early in his career. What a surprise that he did a role like Dobara and carried it so convincingly. I want to see him in an out and out commercial drama. I think he will pull it off. And good casting with Dure. It will be definitely interesting.
Yumna Zaidi and Zahid Ahmed will be back❤. I really loved their pairing and it's literally a dream come true to see them together again that too in such a big project like Gentleman
Bilal Abbas is more successful actor than others because he gained popularity and also critics appreciation just by doing quality project no OTT star plus content yet ...and wahaj should really choose good content now as he is a good actor so enough of OTT projects

Some (hopefully constructive) feedback: - When there are too many guests, it's hard to balance the conversations. Some dominate a lot and others barely get a chance to speak. Maybe one way to correct this is to record extra footage and chop off interruptions/ unnecessary comments - The discussion could have been more meaty. The questions felt like they were taken from international discussions (which isn't wrong) but maybe some more digging into unique local context would have been useful. (E.g. the social media backlash if any actress dares to dress up a certain way, some probing into how PR works in this industry) Marina khan said there can be a separate episode on how she did the romance in Dhoop Kinaray. As a die hard fan of that serial, I beg you to do that interview -- maybe for AHI?? 😃 Really appreciate your work. Keep doing more. Bless you!

In model round table, Frieha was very respectful towards younger ppl and was quiet mostly. Also, why Huma nawab was invited when she wasn’t asked many questions? Even first question about accomplishments was not asked to her.

I don’t like how in Pakistan we treat pregnancy like an illness, whenever someone is pregnant they say ‘woh bemaar hai’ (how dumb) and any sight of bump even if not emphasised we go haw haye and view it in a shameful manner. I remember Syra used to get trolled even though she didn’t release pregnancy pics or even wear tight clothing just because she attended a few weddings whilst pregnant and was pictured by others, and people thought she was begheirat & shameless for that. I think there’s definitely 2 extremes. Minal and co is on one extreme, and then the awaam and their mindset is on another. No one needs to be locked up and chained to their bed for 9 months just because they’re pregnant which Pakistani awaam expect, but then there’s another extreme of making these photoshoots/scan pics and baby showers public and commodifying your pregnancy which I don’t agree with either.
Bilal Abbas is one of the finest actor the industry has however I am quite gutted with the pairing. I was hoping for better pairing. Duure's acting throws me off. Bilal's presence might easily overshadow her. Nonetheless still looking forward towards it.
I think pak dramas don't have a proper casting method. They just cast whoever is available and under their budget. Mostly hum goes it and one of the reasons why hum is not getting any good show is because of how bad their cast has been. Why would they cast dure who don't hold a candle in front of bilal cast opposite him in a big project? I am extremely skeptic about the lead pair and their chemistry in IM. Even if the drama has good story if the lead pair don't click with the audience then it won't get the attention it deserves. They should have cast someone like Iqra opposite bilal. Sajal just did a drama with him so it will be a repeat. Kuch ankahi is one of the few pak dramas I have seen with perfect casting.

I am putting my hopes in faruq ridh. Hope he is able to bring out some acting chops in her. In all the dramas I have seen of his he managed to cast top actors with atleast decent acting skills. So it's not that hard for a good director to bring out good performances from decent actors. Dure is the only new comer with below average acting skills cast in his drama. Iqra would have been so good. She is a good actress and she had great chemistry with bilal in qurban. The drama happened 6 yrs ago. So the pairing will also look fresh. Sajal and Bilal are naturally cute and adorable looking. So if this drama has a lot of cute scenes it would have looked natural with these two.
I accidentally happened to see Pyar ke sadkey shots and watched the drama, my first Pakistani drama ever and watched almost all the work done my Bilal… what a Terrific actor…. Superb screen presence… the way he expresses through his eyes… his body language, the right attitude , never goes out of his character… he is brilliant in all his shows…… his persona in real life…. Iam in love with Bilal…. He is THE best actor ….. he deserves much more than what he is now…. He deserved much more awards and recognition….looking forward for his new show Ishq Murshid… hope it does wonders to this great , deserving actor…. I don’t think Shamoon agrees with his daughters lifestyle (maybe the way she dresses I think?) and he has a right as a father to condemn it. But he should have never made it an issue on social media and should have left it within the family. You are deliberately spoiling your child’s wedding and on top of that whenever things will get fine between you the two and eventually it will he will deeply regret it. Shamoon also to me comes across as unstable, he divorced Javeria, humaima, his third wife, and then now married to 4th which he hid as well. He quit acting to only come back. He needs to be careful. That’s your child and will came back to haunt you. And believe the people who praised you or supported (or even hated you) will only enjoy this online drama. They’re only enjoying the tamasha. The general public has no loyalty to anyone and they will eventually say why should we show loyalty when you can’t even be loyal to your own family! THINK BEFORE SPEAKING. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

@@Abiha-ASM well I don’t know, that’s the first I’ve seen anyone insinuate anything like that. I don’t know much about her except I’ve seen some of her dramas. I’ve seen a few of her interviews too and she comes across as just another ordinary woman, nothing she said really suggests otherwise, except she sometimes wears clothing which is immodest. Her daughter is definitely goth/punk style, and very westernised. Although a few years ago her daughter looked and dressed like an normal Pakistani girl too. Regardless still, Shamoon shouldn’t air dirty laundry. That’s his child and he will come to regret it. He doesn’t know what the future holds. Those comments won’t go away now that they’re on the internet forever. If he kept it to himself and expressed it directly to his family which I’m sure he already has I would have far more respect for him. I’m not saying whether he is right or wrong about his ex or daughter, he knows them better, but at least should not badmouth them to the press and the awaam! I don’t understand this obsession with airing your family politics to the world.

No one else can be so eloquent and expressive yet so respectful for all the actors, ranging from the senior most to the junior most. I wish #Yumnazaidi has more chance to speak. There was a very fine question asked from Yumna and everyone just started talking their minds and by the end she couldn't speak of her heart. I feel #ZQ shouldn't have brought the MR in #Terebin without any reason amd context as this was not the celebration or critique of one drama. #Bushraansari is always a pleasure to listen to. I love her energy. #Humanawab is quite serious and very less talkative. I still remember her role of a nurse in #Nijat...#Seharkhan is cute and mature, one and the same time. #Mahirakhan she is love! can not get tired of listening to her.
Tere Bin is the sole reason for his popularity today. He did a lot of good characters before that but so do a lot of other actors. Some never reach this point of success despite having done great work throughout their careers. Wahaj hit a jackpot with Tere Bin that made him and Yumna household names in so many countries.
I knew of Wahaj before Tere Bin but I didn’t have much of an impression of him. After Tere Bin, his whole persona as a hero has evolved. He’s become a household name.

In fact in ehed e wafa I thought he and the character played by Ahmed Ali Akhbar were far more interesting and a draw card for me than that of Ahad Raza Mir! Plus his comedy in Ishq Jalebi, and also his serious roles in DNUTN, and Jo bicher Gaye! All show casing his talent, sadly it’s the chocolate suave Romeo of Tere Bin which got him this expanded exposure spilling across the border and also other far away countries in the west!

Big fan ... Love watching (listening) to all your videos. A little feedback from an avid listener . But first let me provide context to my feedback. I primarily listen to your videos on my phone while I'm cooking, on the train or walking to the office. I find that the volume on your videos is not the best. Unless there is absolute silence I find it hard to hear every word spoken by you guys and your banter is the fun part of the videos. I always turn up the volume to max but still doesn't help sometimes.Have you gotten this feedback from other users ?
Wahaj Ali really rose to stardom from TB. And that’s unfortunate if you ask me. He’s done three outstanding dramas in recent times that all got brushed under the rug due to TB. Namely, Dil na Umeed To Nahi, Jo Bichar Gaye and of course, Ishq Jalebi. But, it’s dramas like Tere Bin and Fitoor that were always trending and getting billions of views. Our audiences just love watching trash and the artist’s quality of work deteriorates in search of popularity. Years ago, the exact same happened with Danish Taimoor. He did some amazing work with Kashif Nisar, Mehreen Jabbar and even with Haissam Hussain. But nobody talks about his good dramas and rather people only care to watch stuff like Ishq Hai and KTK.

But, Noorpur ki Rani, Manchallay, Chaudhvin ka Chaand (all three of these are with Sanam Baloch), Rehai (a Kashf foundation drama by Mehreen Jabbar), and Sannata by Kashif Nisar which also starred Saba Qamar and Sajal Aly. The point is Danish’s work is extremely extensive. He’s done basically every role you can think of, but nobody looks past his newer roles like KTK. I’m just afraid that in a few years, people are going to remember Wahaj as Murtasim from TB and nobody will even know about his amazing work in the last 2 years

Totally agree with Aamna here regarding Wahaj Ali mass popularity due to Tere bin...I discovered him through Tere bin n now he has become my most favorite Pakistani actor. and I havn't seen his other work yet..

I don’t like how in Pakistan we treat pregnancy like an illness, whenever someone is pregnant they say ‘woh bemaar hai’ (how dumb) and any sight of bump even if not emphasised we go haw haye and view it in a shameful manner. I remember Syra used to get trolled even though she didn’t release pregnancy pics or even wear tight clothing just because she attended a few weddings whilst pregnant and was pictured by others, and people thought she was begheirat & shameless for that. I think there’s definitely 2 extremes. Minal and co is on one extreme, and then the awaam and their mindset is on another. No one needs to be locked up and chained to their bed for 9 months just because they’re pregnant which Pakistani awaam expect, but then there’s another extreme of making these photoshoots/scan pics and baby showers public and commodifying your pregnancy which I don’t agree with either.
Yumna also got global recognition because of tere bin. It’s one project which is soo much lucky for everyone be it actors writers reviewers.
Bilal Abbas is one of the finest actor the industry has however I am quite gutted with the pairing. I was hoping for better pairing. Duure's acting throws me off. Bilal's presence might easily overshadow her. Nonetheless still looking forward towards it.
I think pak dramas don't have a proper casting method. They just cast whoever is available and under their budget. Mostly hum goes it and one of the reasons why hum is not getting any good show is because of how bad their cast has been. Why would they cast dure who don't hold a candle in front of bilal cast opposite him in a big project? I am extremely skeptic about the lead pair and their chemistry in IM. Even if the drama has good story if the lead pair don't click with the audience then it won't get the attention it deserves. They should have cast someone like Iqra opposite bilal. Sajal just did a drama with him so it will be a repeat.
Kuch ankahi is one of the few pak dramas I have seen with perfect casting.

I am putting my hopes in faruq ridh. Hope he is able to bring out some acting chops in her. In all the dramas I have seen of his he managed to cast top actors with atleast decent acting skills. So it's not that hard for a good director to bring out good performances from decent actors. Dure is the only new comer with below average acting skills cast in his drama.
Iqra would have been so good. She is a good actress and she had great chemistry with bilal in qurban. The drama happened 6 yrs ago. So the pairing will also look fresh.
Sajal and Bilal are naturally cute and adorable looking. So if this drama has a lot of cute scenes it would have looked natural with these two.

I accidentally happened to see Pyar ke sadkey shots and watched the drama, my first Pakistani drama ever and watched almost all the work done my Bilal… what a Terrific actor…. Superb screen presence… the way he expresses through his eyes… his body language, the right attitude , never goes out of his character… he is brilliant in all his shows…… his persona in real life…. Iam in love with Bilal…. He is THE best actor ….. he deserves much more than what he is now…. He deserved much more awards and recognition….looking forward for his new show Ishq Murshid… hope it does wonders to this great , deserving actor…. I want to wish him all the success in life.Iam from India and Bilal earned a fan.
I don’t think Shamoon agrees with his daughters lifestyle (maybe the way she dresses I think?) and he has a right as a father to condemn it. But he should have never made it an issue on social media and should have left it within the family. You are deliberately spoiling your child’s wedding and on top of that whenever things will get fine between you the two and eventually it will he will deeply regret it. Shamoon also to me comes across as unstable, he divorced Javeria, humaima, his third wife, and then now married to 4th which he hid as well. He quit acting to only come back. He needs to be careful. That’s your child and will came back to haunt you. And believe the people who praised you or supported (or even hated you) will only enjoy this online drama. They’re only enjoying the tamasha. The general public has no loyalty to anyone and they will eventually say why should we show loyalty when you can’t even be loyal to your own family! THINK BEFORE SPEAKING. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

@@Abiha-ASM well I don’t know, that’s the first I’ve seen anyone insinuate anything like that. I don’t know much about her except I’ve seen some of her dramas. I’ve seen a few of her interviews too and she comes across as just another ordinary woman, nothing she said really suggests otherwise, except she sometimes wears clothing which is immodest. Her daughter is definitely goth/punk style, and very westernised. Although a few years ago her daughter looked and dressed like an normal Pakistani girl too. Regardless still, Shamoon shouldn’t air dirty laundry. That’s his child and he will come to regret it. He doesn’t know what the future holds. Those comments won’t go away now that they’re on the internet forever. If he kept it to himself and expressed it directly to his family which I’m sure he already has I would have far more respect for him. I’m not saying whether he is right or wrong about his ex or daughter, he knows them better, but at least should not badmouth them to the press and the awaam! I don’t understand this obsession with airing your family politics to the world.

I feel #ZQ shouldn't have brought the MR in #Terebin without any reason amd context as this was not the celebration or critique of one drama. #Bushraansari is always a pleasure to listen to. Tere Bin is the sole reason for his popularity today. He did a lot of good characters before that but so do a lot of other actors. Some never reach this point of success despite having done great work throughout their careers. Wahaj hit a jackpot with Tere Bin that made him and Yumna household names in so many countries.

In fact in ehed e wafa I thought he and the character played by Ahmed Ali Akhbar were far more interesting and a draw card for me than that of Ahad Raza Mir! Plus his comedy in Ishq Jalebi, and also his serious roles in DNUTN, and Jo bicher Gaye! All show casing his talent, sadly it’s the chocolate suave Romeo of Tere Bin which got him this expanded exposure spilling across the border and also other far away countries in the west!

Big fan ... Love watching (listening) to all your videos. A little feedback from an avid listener . But first let me provide context to my feedback. I primarily listen to your videos on my phone while I'm cooking, on the train or walking to the office. I find that the volume on your videos is not the best. Unless there is absolute silence I find it hard to hear every word spoken by you guys and your banter is the fun part of the videos. I always turn up the volume to max but still doesn't help sometimes.Have you gotten this feedback from other users ?

Wahaj Ali really rose to stardom from TB. And that’s unfortunate if you ask me. He’s done three outstanding dramas in recent times that all got brushed under the rug due to TB. Namely, Dil na Umeed To Nahi, Jo Bichar Gaye and of course, Ishq Jalebi. But, it’s dramas like Tere Bin and Fitoor that were always trending and getting billions of views. Our audiences just love watching trash and the artist’s quality of work deteriorates in search of popularity. Years ago, the exact same happened with Danish Taimoor. He did some amazing work with Kashif Nisar, Mehreen Jabbar and even with Haissam Hussain. But nobody talks about his good dramas and rather people only care to watch stuff like Ishq Hai and KTK.

But, Noorpur ki Rani, Manchallay, Chaudhvin ka Chaand (all three of these are with Sanam Baloch), Rehai (a Kashf foundation drama by Mehreen Jabbar), and Sannata by Kashif Nisar which also starred Saba Qamar and Sajal Aly. The point is Danish’s work is extremely extensive. He’s done basically every role you can think of, but nobody looks past his newer roles like KTK. I’m just afraid that in a few years, people are going to remember Wahaj as Murtasim from TB and nobody will even know about his amazing work in the last 2 years

It is private affair but they let everyone know they’re expecting and you can even see it. Dressing modestly should be a given regardless whether your pregnant or not. They could simply just go awol like other celebs have done but if they are still working and will be visible then question of privacy is out of the door. I think we forget they’re public figures.
Also don’t want it to look like I’m arguing with you - just wanted to share the other side of the coin opinion as we all do on here regularly.
