I'm a grown man in his 40's and every single time I watch this video, I get chills and tear up. I've watched hundreds of times and even gone down the rabbit hole of watching reaction videos. In my opinion, it's one of the best live performances ever captured on film. It's so raw and moving. Yebba is incredible and I hope she has a very successful career.

She’s doesn’t just have vocal control, her Emotional control is otherworldly. Anyone else singing that same song with the same raw emotion would break down in tears and not be able to finish singing. This woman is so strong. And seeing her hold her frame and not break down but still deliver her message as authentic as possible is what actually made me cry. Her strength.

For my own peace of mind... I have decided that the reason this audience didn't stand up in a thunderous roar of applause (as she DESERVED) was because they were all so shook that they were in stunned reverence
That certainly can happen, especially with "heavy" songs. I think about the about 5 second pause at the end of Night Birdes AGT performance before the crowd errupts.
I think one of the rules of the venue she was performing was that the audience should hold applause

So Far shows are amazing! I highly recommend them. They don't tell you the location of the show until the day off .Sometimes they are in back yard other times at a bar. Well that's how they do it in Texas. And yeah they ask you to respect the artist . It's a great way to find new artist.

She says her artist name was chosen to honor her mother, who she said "always called her by the nickname" (her name Abbey written backwards) as a child.

I just found this song, and read about her mother. I’d like to dedicate this to *my* mom.
My dad started seeing another woman when I was 12. He moved her in next door to us when I was 16. He moved in with her when I was 23 and pregnant with my oldest. And until January 23, 2021, for over 20 years, I watched my mom lose her mind and wither away into literally nothing.
She drove herself crazy, hoping he would come back home. She would sit at the kitchen table for hours, staring out the window at their house. She cried. All the time. Even when her mind started to go, even when she was laying in the hospice bed in the living room, she couldn’t talk, I don’t even know if she knew who I was, but she knew who dad was. And she took her last breath looking at his house thru the living room window by her hospice bed.
