In mundka(Delhi). A girl(17.6 yrs old) called her boyfriend for fun when she was alone unluckily when they was just stating their fun girl's family came.
First they beated the boy and filed a complain of theft(2 LK jwellery and some case) and attempt to rape case. And girl became witness(due to family pressure)
Now the matter is settled in 8 lakh.

The court couldn't prove the man's innocence until the girl confessed to making false allegations. Without her admission, he could have been wrongly imprisoned. Courts should enact measures to prevent wrongful convictions before passing judgment.

5.8 lakh rs is nothing because one fake complaint ruined everything, his family, his life, his mind, his behaviour. He will not be the same person like before.
At last the judiciary is taking cognisance of this harsh reality of false cases (498, 376) in Indian society. However, for no fault of the man he had to undergo 4 years of incarceration, which is really sad. It has shattered his life forever. Long live such wise judges.
The case you're referring to is undoubtedly a tragic one, and it highlights the deep-rooted issues within our justice system when it comes to dealing with cases involving minors and allegations of sexual assault.
While the government's decision to release the man after years of wrongful incarceration and provide him with compensation is commendable, it does little to undo the mental and emotional trauma he and his family have endured. No amount of money or time behind bars can truly compensate for the suffering they have experienced.
However, it is crucial to understand that the girl, who was a minor at the time, may have been coerced or pressured by her family or the authorities to make false allegations. At such a tender age, she could have been easily influenced or even threatened into providing statements that went against the truth. In such cases, it is not just the accuser who should be held accountable, but also the individuals or systems that manipulated or coerced her into making false claims.
The family members and the police officers involved, if found guilty of pressuring or coercing a minor to make false allegations, should face severe consequences. They have not only violated the trust placed in them but have also contributed to the erosion of public faith in the justice system.
It is disheartening to learn that some individuals may be misusing laws intended to protect vulnerable sections of society for their own personal gain or vengeance. Such actions not only undermine the credibility of genuine cases but also perpetuate a culture of mistrust and skepticism towards victims of sexual assault.
Recently I watched Podcast of Raj Shamani, which highlights the reality of false cases filed by women against innocent men, is indeed an eye-opener. It sheds light on the dire need for reforms in our legal system to ensure that justice is served impartially, without regard to gender bias or societal prejudices.
As a society, we must strive to create a system that not only provides a safe and supportive environment for victims to come forward but also safeguards the rights of the accused and protects them from false allegations. Every case should be thoroughly investigated, and the truth should be the sole guiding principle, regardless of the gender or societal status of those involved.
It is crucial that we raise awareness about these issues and advocate for a more equitable and just legal framework that upholds the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability. Only then can we truly address the deep-rooted systemic flaws and ensure that justice is served without discrimination or prejudice.
