たまたま30年前のアマチュアバンド「人間椅子」の「イカ天」出演時の映像を見つけたこの異国の方は、今では「人間椅子」のタトゥーを体に入れようとしています。そんなファンが日本に居るでしょうか？この方は今では世界一の人間椅子ファンかも知れませんね。不思議な時代になったものです（笑）

The guitarist Shinji Wajima and bass player Kenichi Suzuki met in junior high around about 1979. They went to the same high school together starting in 1981. The band was formed after finishing college in 1987, adding the first drummer at that time. They released their first album in 1990.
This was the tv show where they got their public debut.

Having only found out about Ningen Isu a few months ago, it feels really bizarre to see them young, lol! Thanks to being blown away finding Band-Maid a while ago, then curious about other Japanese rock, Ningen Isu,! AWESOME!
They covered alot of different styles over their long career. But that doom metal element started coming in pretty early I think, Odoru Issuboushi was a pretty early song for them and had a doom feel I think. Caterpillar is another of my favorites, more of an alternative rock song, but some parts of it sound very 60's to me. Anyways, it's exciting to find a band you've never heard before that is this good, with this many albums for you to listen to. I've been listening to them for a few months now but still only have scratched the surface.

The 30th Anniversary Best Edition was released on December 11, 2019, and all the songs are accompanied by English translation of lyrics.

This is my favorit song of theirs, and this live version is the best, sutch a dirty sound. I saw them in London in februari, awesome! Check out "Voice out of nothing" another favorite of mine.
Yes, you happened to pick up NINGEN ISU from 30 years ago. The Japanese title is Hari no Yama (Mountain of Needles), which is actually their cover of the track Breadfan by a British rock band, Budgie.
Ah, thanks for the reference. I recognized that it's a Metallica's song, but I thought that it must be a cover, because Metallica has included it in the Garage, Inc. compilation album, where they mostly did the covers of their favourite songs. Yes, Breadfan... Very good song. And Ningen Isu have even translated it into Japanese! Very interesting.
