I think that's a Citroen XM
@@zeemanjr Nope, it's a Citroën BX.
@@janscooter8669 My bad
The name of your car makes me have to pause and resist throwing up. I don't know if that means I know too much , I'm a good boy , or I'm easily grossed out. 🤢
@@NickKautz why? It’s named after Pai, the mountain town in northern Thailand with some of the worlds best driving roads, and it’s Cream colored, so CreamPai 🙂
hey there, thank you for letting my son (the 4 years old kid with curly hair) sat inside the cream pai.. he loved cars so much! he really enjoyed it! and i am so sorry for whatever happened in malaysia..
You're very welcome and I hope he liked it and you got some cool pictures :)
@@CBMedia404 yes, indeed! my husband got the video of you handing over the car key to him too.. now everyday he asking to go to the cars autoshow 😂
its pai not pie %)
@@mr_makko sorry for the misspelling due to autocorrect.. yes it’s pai..

Here in Malaysia, the speed limit is whatever you want it to be, as long as there are no cops haha. If you are ever in Malaysia again, you should try going up to Genting, many car enthusiasts love speeding up there in the early mornings, it really gives you those Initial D mountain racing vibes.
Just my thought! Why not the scenic view ascending through the clouds to the top of the mountain in Genting! Epic! I would love to drive that road!
There is a lot of speed hump.....
To be honest he can’t talk driving like that
Was just in Kuala Lumpur last month and there was less traffic than BKK, less crowds, cleaner air, and it's a really cool city 👍
Who doesn't like "road trip" vlogs. Glued from start to finish. Sunset, scenery, your infectious and never ending enthusiasm..and of course the legendary Cream Pai thru the tunnel of love. Brilliant. Hope you've managed to have a couple of 'coldies' to calm the nerves. Brilliant, loved it! 🙏
I drove about 2000klms in Malaysia a couple of years ago over about 1 week. I loved driving there and found the drivers were very courteous and keep to the slow lane unless overtaking. The slow lane travelled well above the posted speed limit and the passing lane was obviously even faster. The posted speed limit signs were merely a suggestion.
@@allomony4010 yes. And how come the CB media people say that malaysian driver are reckless and no manners.
@@allomony4010 how come the cb media experience the opposite? And claim Malaysian driver are reckless and no manners?
I think it because the people he saw replicate his action like monkey on malaysian roads.
Number 1 survival tip when driving in Malaysia, always use your indicators and watch out for motorcyclists, many are like suicide missiles on the road.
Some drivers wont give way if use indicators, preferably use own hand at the direction you want to go like how we learned when taking motorcycle license
also the right lane is where the speed limt become speed requirement. if you see a car coming straight right behind you, you better make a way for them
What an epic road trip. That 86 Trueno is stunning. Oh and i have to mention that TE37 Corolla Levin...simply beautiful. That "retro car " (black with white roof) is a 1964 Nissan Cedric .
Man i love that trip, Malaysia has many nice Sceneries and lot of nice tuned cars, and amazing food on the nightmarkets.🤩
man, the sunset drive through penang bridge is so amazing. welcome to Malaysia Chad!
Really enjoyed the video, reminds me of the good days late 90's and 2000's we would cruise on a daily basis. Detailing our rides , meeting girls , getting phone numbers it was epic times!
haha....Malaysian drove like maniac but you never know how Singaporean drove in Malaysia bro...btw, thanks for coming to Malaysia and all the compliments. Keep doing videos like this
When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
Huis abg jangan cakap kekuat nanti dia dengar ,..huhuhu
Nice I saw your car at the hotel at night in Penang with a few of your friends' cars. I was waiting for this video so cool They all looked so Beautiful something about retro
When I stayed in Penang last November, it rained a lot and the sunsets looked like that every day it wasn't raining. This is a great road trip and I'm glad you had the opportunity to do this.
Also, that car sounds amazing. We drove from KL to Penang and it is a great drive. The scenery is great. We also noticed the maniacal driving in Malaysia.
It looked like a nice little town. I literally didn’t leave the hotel, I sat in the lobby restaurant and ate, drank beer and edited for hours while my Thai friends went out. I had to get my weekly video edited and up.
this is the closest you can get to experience driving in a Mad Max themed traffic in the real world
Seriously some of the best content on the internet. From California just arrived in Thailand for a few months. Great inspiration. Thx Chad, I was stoked on my 540i. Might have to pick up another one.
I saw your car at retro havoc and I can't get my eyes from your car.I admire your build so much. Thankyou for coming to Malaysia! ❤️
I just left Bangkok and sir your content had me looking everywhere and seeing all the amazing cars, vans and bikes busses. Thank you
Danke!
Thanks the support Serge 🙏🏻
Drive Safely Chad.. No Worries if U got a problem in Kuala Lumpur.. Insyaallah we will help U as a Malaysian Citizens.U are our Guest..😊
Jesus god bless!
Bapak ah kaki jilattt
Mantap pak abu....
Can’t imagine why these travel videos don’t do well, please don’t stop making them 🙏
Cause he's a weirdo.
That was precisely my thought as Chad was uttering those words.
I guess it has to do with the widespread short attention span the encompasses social media platforms today.
Finally got the time to watch your road trips vlog from Thailand to Malaysia...Been waiting for you to check out Malaysia for a long time...Can't wait for the next vlog Chad!!👌🇲🇾
Sorry for the bad experience while you were in Malaysia. Hope this isn't the last time you'll be here like you said. Sad that I couldn't see you that day. Hope to see you again at the next event🙏🏻
I love the sound of Cream Pai. From Australia and I have a Grabber Blue 1970 Mach 1 Mustang which sounds really cool but got to love your car under acceleration. Thanks for the vids, great work.
I thank CB media and his Patreon supports for making this and many other driving trips videos possible, I truly do enjoy them
did not skip a SINGLE moment . Enjoy these roadtrip videos way more. hats off to you cuz
Thanks Chad that was a Great Trip! Glad you made it safely.
Freaking awesome my friend, can always count on you for keeping me pumped on Asia and the car seen
Chad, great to have met you in KL. Happy to see Cream Pai in the metal. I asked you about your merch sizes which are shipped from the US. Do consider to do your merch in Thailand, easier to ship in Asia and also you can bring your stocks to car meets and events like Retro Havoc 👍🏼🤩
I'm guessing he's had his fill of Thai manufacturing for a looong time.
It would complicate the order management and fulfillment process too much. Because my company in the US deals with the orders and shipping for me. And they wouldn’t be able to access the product that is here. And no way do I have time to ship orders myself. I tried in the past to have shipping managed from here and it never went smooth and caused more issues than it was worth. Unfortunately the only solution is to do what works, and that’s using my US based company, who gets ordered fulfillment and shipping fast and accurately every time.
All is good. As long as can buy and have it shipped correctly and timely 👍🏻
Loved the Malay trip. Brought back memories for me when I went there. Keep up the great content. David
Nice trip Chad. The Citroen, is a french car, called BX.
It as hydrolic suspensions. When you stop the car it goes down, and goes up when you start the engine. My dad used to have one, maybe 30 years ago.
I still remember many years ago seeing a truck overtaking another truck in Malaysia, up hill, on the wrong side of the road, across double lines, towards a blind crest.
Road trips like that just brings tears of joy to my eyes. The pull in the tunnel..the scenery...the towers....the accomplishment. This my friend is what winning looks like.
So dope, unorganized and chaotic, this is how my car club trips are. Defiantly a cool well documented ride. Could watch this all day.
What an awesome video
I got goose bumps several times
Great vlog, Brought back many memories, I did a similar trip by bus 12 years ago, Started in KL, traveled to panang, Karbi,Phi Phi, Phuket, Bangkok, Train to Chang Mi, Rented a motorcycle to the northern tip of Vietnam into Yunnan china, If i had only knew about you tube i would of recorded the trip, Thanks again
Man!!! That tunnel made me smile from ear to ear.
bro, one thing I will say is thanks you for making me aware of this tofu shop. I don't know anything about Malesia but this place is now on my bucket list
These are my favorite types of videos man. You’re living the dream bro
Im from Penang. Missed hometown as i didnt not live there anymore. I drive to Thailand 3 times before and the best one is from south of Malaysia Johor to Mae Hon Son last year. Best trip ever with my squads and ride
That sound in the tunnel! Wow... music to my ears
Thank you Chad for coming our malaysian event of retro havoc much appreciated
Yay finally CB media Road trip is back
Man I'm loving this trip, so excited to get my E38 completely done for a roadworthy trip. Welp next year is looking golden. That scenery and clean roads just calling me.
hey man i saw this at retro havoc and was in SHOCK when we saw the S65 just chilling in the E30 and i was laughing my ass off because it was nothing like i've ever seen
hope to see the E30 again soon in
Chad you rock! Love the road trip videos! Peace
I always enjoy your road trip videos the best thank you Chad
This is epic! Makes me want to become a patreon for more of these videos lol
I think this is cooler than the Cambodia trip since you drove your own car
Thanks for your vid...I have a 1972 2000-2002 Tii Touring. Imported from Holland last year. Love it. Good luck with everything
Love the videos….glad to see you sporting the Vans on your feet…makes me wanna try a trip to Thailand
Awesome video , nice to see you driving around, that’s what I like 👍
10:46 that golden hour shot of the 86 was stunning.
Epic road trip Chad! Enjoyed every minute. I keep seeing a '78 or so Toyota Corolla almost every gas stop. That particular model means a lot to me, since I had one back in the 1980's with a fully built 2TC 1600. It was a little rocket back in the day, and I wish I still had it. Unfortunately it got stolen out of my driveway shortly after I moved out to the Southwest US, and that was the last I saw of it.😖
Hahahahah you've experienced the essence of Malaysia just on the second day here , sudden rain after the perfectly beautiful sunny day with amazing sunset . Welcome To Malaysia hope you have a good time here ..
Congrats chad on the arrival in malaysia i live in malaysia and im going to hatyai this friday and ik the people here are out off there minds
Nice to see you on the road again Chad san!
It felt good! I just got back and want to do for again 😂
I've driven in Malaysia quite a bit, and in my experience the drivers there are the most uncourteous and prone to road rage than anywhere else. Although some folks consider Thai driving to be crazy, at least the folks in Thailand are usually courteous to other drivers.
I still have some good memories of driving there though. Back then I drove a Mitsubishi VR4 Galant and hit the fastest speed I've ever done on the pristine tollway in northern Johor.
With all that money on the road...I'm sure they have an escort...
I absolutely agree
Thailand good drivers bad roads, Malaysia bad drivers good roads😂
well said... its true
Love the travel vlogs ,need more of them not sure why they don't get views .Was hooked from start to finish .
I truly do appreciate your tour videos. Great job
New subs from my,, welcome to Malaysia 😊
man.. the tunnel sound was awesome... I got used to driving with my rear view mirror a lot when I lived in Germany.. It saved me more that a few times
Wow! That Ford MK2 brought back memeories of the old rally cars. Correct me if I'm wrong on the model. So many cool cars. Thanks Chad for the awesome video..
Epic vlod Chad, hitting it out of the park once again. I understand an can relate to confusion and issues while in a convoy involving high end vehicles. Since there is no support vehicles for the trip, im glad there's alot of gas stations on the trip. Would recommend having a small kit with detail supplies in trunk to keep Cream pai shinny....✌️
Sick vid Chad. Your road-trips are always cool. 👍👍
Outstanding.
Keep up the Riad Trips.
I never knew Malaysia was so beautiful.
i felt sorry about your experience last week at the Retro Havoc. I personally feel ashamed as Malaysian with some visitor who came to event. I wish i could meet you there chad. I hope this will your last trip to Malaysia.
Nothing to do with laser cut circumcision generation
Hey, Chad. That 97 octane fuel in Malaysia is a RON number. Octanes in the US are RON+MON/2. Short version... that 97 you bought is equivalent to US 92.
/2 cents
They only have 95 Ron in Thailand which is what he's used to getting. In Australia we only have up to 98 Ron but in the UK they have 99 Ron.
Chad stay safe over there brotha we are huge fans of yours here a McAnany Racing keep up the great work man
I'm loving that you have absolutely no idea what's going on already and you just started.
your scooter road trips in the early days is why I subbed
great video, moving to Thailand myself in a couple of years, would love to catch up. cream pie is the bomb
As a Malaysian, Im truly apologize about some of the so called "king of the road driver"... Im also fan of CB media content.... peace no war...... keep it up bro.... hopefully one day can meet you personally.... God bless
Love the content Chad!
S65 + e30 + Malaysia loved it
Makes me miss my e92 M3 6MT
Loved this ,Thanks again for letting us tag along.Peace and chicken grease!
Yeah A&W has a restaurant here in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area as well..
I dint know that the car community was so wild in Thailand. The Ford escord and your E30. S65 with sidepipes Gotta love it
Hey Chad. A&W used to have drive-in restaurants across the US when I was a kid in the 70's. Most all off them were gone by the end of the 80's. Brings back some fond memories seeing the one you stopped at in Malaysia.
Love the video! Love the car!! Proper tunnel driving good sir!!
That Hachiroku is beautiful. Great video Chad. Loved it 🤙
Love it chad!hope u find more tunnels..good luck cream pai😁

GODDDDDDD !!!!! I can't take my eyes off of the ae86. SO CLEAN !!!
youtube automotive gold right here. Thank you for the great content
That landscape looks beautiful. I can only imagine a road trip and being able to see that with my own eyes instead of a camera. Awesome dude!!!!!

Saw your E30 in retro havoc and it was so clean I LOVE IT
thanx bro ..epic trip and awesome video as usual :)
I want to thank you for introducing me to Thailand's amazing car scene that I neve rknew existed, and now my dream is to work hard, make money, and travel to Thailand to have my own car scene lifestyle
Thank you Chad
Thank you
Love your channel dude, I think I found you through Tim K's channel who I watch. Your E30 brings back memories of my 89 325i zooming around in San Francisco with it, fun little car, I always wanted the S50 95 M3 transplant in mine, but never got around to doing it, end up getting cool deal on a Dakkar 95 M3. Your car is sick, giving me some insprations for a revisit back to a E30 with newer transplant.
I love these vlogs!! These are my favorite!!
Man I was leaning into the computer screen for this one. Thanks for the ride Chad was a blast!
such a cool trip. no doubt. always into CreamPai forever.
Love it, definitely windows down and down shifting in a tunnel, its the simple things in life which are often the best ;) That gave me a smile instantly!
Man I had to cut out my real reaction because it was embarrassing how happy it made me. I was screaming like a girl hahahaha 😂😂😂
awesome road trip chad..yup driving in thailand is very less stress than in malaysia 👍
I really like these travel videos. Keep them coming CB Media. I do road trips in Finland on my Harley or with one of my cars. Driving car or motorcycle on road is my number one favorite hobby on this planet.
Welcome to the Malaysia chad,i feel sorry fot whatever happens in malaysia...omg i still remember those days i did motorbike convoy from hatyai to kuala lumpur it was so epic and outrageous...sometimes we are cruising in 180km/h 😂😂😂....
Absolutely incredible video!! Was smiling all the way through and that Malaysian sun set....wow!!! What a fantastic experience....and as a 'Older Gentleman' I sure know what leaky coilovers feels like..... PMSL!!
Those limestone plugs look like you were around the Ipoh region. I drove around there in 2022, what a drive!
