I love Galactic. When I saw it on the promo pics I thought it wasn't my thing, but seeing it in action made a huge difference. I do have a thing for Dior, but honestly they make the perfect eyeshadows to throw on in 3 seconds when in a rush, creating a nice, elegant and easy look for everyday, which stays on even for more than 10 hours in my case, without me needing to use any primer. They make the preparation for working mornings much easier. The fact that Galactic can be used to create that kind of soft look, alongside more elaborate ones, tells me I need to have it!

I am so glad these palettes do not have toppers; they have lighter shades than in previous years, and that the silvery shade leans lavender, well, I am tempted to purchase both. BUT your arguments against spending the money are substantial! I have a few of the palettes you use for comparison, plus others. And plenty of gold! Btw the softer look you created from Galactic is 💯 Sophia!

Nice singing voice! You nailed it on the comps. You hit all of my hot buttons; Natasha Denona Glam, the Viseart quad, and Pat McGrath's new one. I think I can get the closest dupe to Cosmic Eyes (my fave) with the Glam palette, instead of springing $65 for the Dior. I'm glad to see the higher pigment in these Dior palettes. The Atelier, with the silver, from last year, isn't as pigmented as the newer ones. What color is your lipstick? I love it. Also, this is the fourth review I've seen on these eye palettes. But nobody else got it right. Yours is the best. Best comps, best lighting, best presentation, helpful tutorials, and best singing voice. You got it all. Thanks so much for the video!💚

I just picked up the Dior Riviera palettes that I fell in love with based on your swatch comparisons to Chanel Tweed and I think the colour stories work great for fall. I love them! I also picked up the Chanel Tweed Quads (except Poupre) and so far only Brun et Rose arrived and it has been somewhat disappointing, waiting to see how I like the other two. These two are also gorgeous, especially the grey-rose one, but I will wait on it and pick it up perhaps a bit later. Thanks for the demo, great work as always!
Hi Sofia, you create some of the most beautiful, wearable looks that always make me want the product you’re reviewing. With that said, these days I’m more picky with what I spend my money on and I feel like you make us think twice about our purchases which I appreciate. A new eyeshadow pallet with the same colors I have is not going to add anything extra to my happiness so I think a bit more before pulling the trigger. I feel like these days I am more interested in a new beautiful lipstick color with a minimum look on the eyes. Don’t get me wrong, I love makeup and love your reviews and enthusiasm for it so I will always watch your channel. Interested to see what you think of the new PML new eyeshadows you received.

I’m an obsessed with the oxblood shade in galactic. I’m new to Dior, so I know I don’t already have this. Their satins are something special. I am waiting for mine. It is kinda funny how all the brands get their celestial on during the holiday. They feel it’s more inclusive than like, snowflakes maybe, haha! Do you think you’ll get either blush or the Backstage holiday palettes?
Hi Sophia, I love the looks you created with these palettes. I am skipping these because I have both Dior palettes from 2020 with the snowflakes so I think I can pull a couple colors from some other palettes and recreate similar looks. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m really trying to be good this year and use what I already have. The one I’m most interested in is the backstage green palette because there are some unique greens in there that I don’t have anything similar to.

It seems like green is a hard color to make. I was so disappointed with the chanticaille tiger single released last year. It blends into a blackish color on the eye instead of the color in the pan. It was my first and last luminescent single eye shadow purchase! I made the mistake of preordering it so now I’ve learned my lesson to wait for your and others reviews first. Thanks for saving us money and highlighting the best luxury beauty products to buy.

Thanks Veronica! I think it's a little hard to tell. I think that the best way to prevent hard pan is to avoid going back and forth between the shadow and a sticky/wet base. Sometimes I notice hard pan building up on my palettes because I do so many swatches and have to wash my hands in between and the moisture affects the pan
Good question, I think that smoky quartz is much more grey/cool toned. And the sparkle in that palette is kind of a champagne tone so you don't get a ton of gold from that Wayne palette. This is probably closure to Imperial Topaz but more neutral
