WARNING: The following is mostly complaining for the sake of complaining. Do not misunderstand, I do really like this video, but also, I just wanted venting these thought that have built up after having watched so many different people play Spore on youtube. Anyways, you have been warned! As someone who has played Spore for a long time, the thing that bothers me about this is not the awful creature they are making (that's one of the best ways to play spore), but how slowly they are learning the mechanics. It hurts watching them not realize that they can't dance because they don't have feet that give them dance, or buying fins thinking they are wings. not realizing that some parts have better versions of the same ability, or how long it took them to notice the arrows that change the length of the spine. there are some keyboard shortcuts that are super useful for making stupid, cursed things, but I doubt they will ever figure out what they are.
At the end of the day the game is just a vessel for us to make jokes in. Playing a game properly will never be a priority. Not to mention a lot of these things we do figure out, but don't say/show in the video because they aren't entertaining

I mean, if it wasn't EA buying the game, then making it so the only way you can share your creatures, spaceships, custom quests for the galactic adventures DLC, etc. is trough an EA account, which all servers that were doing this for Spore were terminated, the game would have been more popular even nowadays, now its just a singleplayer, offline, sandbox game, they killed all the fun
The good part is not the land part it will always be the water part going to land is my least favorite part and a lot and I mean a lot of UA-camrs also hate the land part
