- Best Side Dish for Paratha& Chapathi | Banana Red Channa Gasi | Tasty Curry for Meal | Gasi recipe
A best curry recipe for parota, chapathi etc. By using raw banana and black channa seeds. Instead of banana and channa, you can also use potatoes, capsicum or baby onions. Tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies etc added as raw while grinding with fried spices. Whole cashews are must for this curry, which gives main taste for the curry. Spices like cinnamon, cloves, pepper, cardamom are added with ordinary spices like Dhania and jeera. Amount of red chillies, green chillies and red chilly powder etc. Can be varied according to your spice requirement.
Ingredients:
Banana 5
Cinnamon 3inches
Cardamom 1
Cloves 6
Pepper 10
Dry red chilli 2 one for masala one for tempering
Coriender seeds 2sp
Jeera 1 sp
Cashew nuts 5
Hing small pieces
Urad dal 1sp
Greated coconut 1handful
Coconut oil 10 sp
Red channa 1cup
Tomato 2
Green chilli 1
Onion 2
Ginger 2inches
Mustard seed 1sp
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder 1/2sp
1/4 red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Jaggary 1 piece
Coriender leaves

you have made at least 3 or 4 videos on Bende/Ghasi ....all are having variations in ingredients . I am sure many of your viewers like me are from other parts of karnataka who who are keen to know mangalore / udapi /Malanad region cuisines , their names etc. . I suggest that it would be good if you can give brief intro to the recipe like what is Gasi or Bende ? are they both same ? what all vegetables can be used ? what are the variations ? what region it belongs to etc. It will go a long way in making your region cuisine more popular and integrating people from different regions of karnataka. I am from Bangalore and great fan of your channel and an old subscriber too.

Every evening I and my family watch your video and my parents remember the utensils you use and tell me how tiring it is to work on them and how hard work has to be put to wash them and cook with them...it seems so fascinating to watch such utensils and good to see people still work so hard in such an era...it's very motivating and encouraging to see hard work pay off as delicious food..I must say we get tired of watching your dish...and you're just as normal and active straight till the end...not a speck of swet or any tiredness to be seen...
