@@noobita4983 the rules are simple. And yes the striker going into the pocket in a regular game would be a foul. It seems this is a variation of carrom that doesnt have that rule

1.Can't strike behind the lines,
2.not allowed to touch opponents piece with touching own
3. no half circle hits
4. Not allowed to move your stool

How do the pieces glide so freely across the board?
From what I can tell so far it's a type.of fine sand. Idk if you have ever seen a table shuffle board before but they use metal disc that float on a sand like grade of sand maybe tad more fine than salt.
How do they achieve such a gliding surface?
