Southern Kentucky Book Fest Featured Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash

More than 150 authors for adults and children were in attendance at this year's Southern Kentucky Book Fest., a free event organized by the partners of WKU Libraries, Warren County Public Library and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. It was held on April 18 at the Sloan Convention Center, and one of the featured authors was Elmo puppeteer Keven Clash. This video clip shows a moment when parents lined up to let their children to get close to Kaven and Elmo.
Kevin Clash, the man behind the muppet Elmo, has been a puppeteer for "Sesame Street for over 25 years and is co-exicutive producer of "Elmo's World."

It always makes me Teary eyed to see Kevin Interact with kids. His relationship with his daughter reminds me of my own. It’s so much easier to empathize with someone you aren’t fully connected with.

I'm smiling. I'm tearing up. KC hiding so that only Elmo is visible in that last family photo. We know Elmo loves us. We love Elmo too.
