Your Cacti are all looking AMAZING Ana :-D and your Yard is so beautiful and tidy and beautifully arranged, thats so fantastic you have been able to move your cacti out of the greenhouse for the Spring, the weather in Ireland is still very unspring like with mild and mostly cloudy days and very cold nights and I can't wait till it starts to warm up here, your Mammillaria is blooming so beautiful, thanks so much for sharing the awesome update with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a wonderful new week XXXX
I just love all your plants and esp when I'm drinking my coffee!! Thank you for sharing!
It amazes me that when we grow cacti from seed, commercially, we provide the same conditions we provide for forest-floor plants in the tropical rainforests. In nature, they get little rainfall, dry air and a scorching sun. Nevertheless, the cacti have successfully germinated in this environment for millions of years. It is common that I find new seedlings growing around the base of a cactus, and in great numbers too! Those are from seeds which fell under the stone mulch. They received just enough moisture and protection from the sun in a more natural way. These cacti have even proved to be tougher and fare the hot and dry summers better than the nursery-grown seedlings.
So true! You have given so many great points. ☕️☕️
Wow amazingly beautiful collection. 👏👏👌
Thank you so much 😊
thank you for your setup video
Great garden and plants, many thanks from London England
Such a beautiful garden. Really nice. Like it a lot!!! Grtz 🤩🤩🥰
So nice of you. Thanks 😊
I am just getting ready to winter our cactus, and we are super inspired by your work! We are going to grow cactus that is tall, but we have a few others as well! love your collection!
My Echinocereus Rigidissimus is in bud for the first time. I hope I am not repeating myself but I just can't stop celebrating. After 3 years, finally budding, they are as big as marbles. Thanks for the video Ana. We always enjoy hearing from you.
Oh, congratulations! That is exciting news.
Your yard is looking so tidy and well organized. Your cacti look very happy, enjoying the freedom of being out of the greenhouse. Very enjoyable vídeo, Ana and informative, too🙋😘🤗❤️
Great video! I am so happy to have found you on UA-cam. Desert gardening is to different from any other type in other areas of the U.S. I learn so much from you! With all the rain we had this winter in Phoenix and the cool spring my cactus are going crazy with buds and flowers. Best spring in the 42 years I have lived here!
Hello from Maricopa. Our torch and claret cup cacti have bloomed prolifically this month! I’m thrilled! My Texas black spine prickly pear is covered with buds getting ready to unfurl later this month.
Peoria here. Hoping my cacti 🌵 don’t go into shock from the abrupt change in temperature! 😮 🥶 🥵
@@pollytiks3885 they will be fine; cactus are adaptable!
I’m the first like!!!
Wonderful setup. Love seeing what you do over in the States - so different to us cacti growers in the UK with our climate 😅
Great video. So helpful for us trying to plan out our area for plants.
Your garden looks awesome, Ana 😊 All your plants are looking fantastic, too. Looking forward to seeing those super blooms soon 😉 Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day and week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜☕️
Thanks Daz. Buds are starting late. I have a Philippines trip coming soon. I’m afraid I might not get to see them all. Hope the weather consistently warms up so the buds grow faster.
@@CactusCaffeine I’m going to miss some blooms when I’m in Singapore, too. But that’s awesome you’re going to the Philippines 😊 Hopefully I’ll be going there next year with Edith 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜☕️
Great video, Ana! Understanding how your setup works really helps to understand our own. Looking forward to your beautiful blooms!
Thanks so much. I’m praying for a good blooming year. They are all starting out late this year.
Nice backyard! It's so HOT here in Vegas I have burned 🔥 😫 so many plants. I have 5 cactus 🌵 that I have kept alive🤗
Beautiful video Ana! Thank you for sharing with us! Have a nice week!
Wonderful backyard setup and fabulous plant collection, Ana, thanks so much for sharing!! The cacti definitely look happy to be back outside! Have a great day!👍🌵🌵😊
all beautiful😍
Fantastic backyard, Ana. Thanks for giving us a Spring update!
Thank you 😊
Thanks for sharing
Amei! Muito lindas!
❤❤❤
Perfeitas suculentas
👍😊💚💚💚💚💚🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵
A lot of these cactus have etiolated growth, so you need to drill the apical meristem and make them pup off then restart the pups in the right conditions.
Beautiful video like always! Such an inspiration seeing your collection. Been following for a few years and appreciate the amazing work!
You probably need a greenhouse soon... Your plants will just get larger and larger and there will be no space in that small greenhouse. At some point, you may have to buy a large greenhouse for year-round use!
Hahaha. I know. Every winter I ask myself why do I keep getting new plants. 😄
Looking good Ana 😎 Was that a Parodia hasselbergii in bloom? 🙂🌵
Yes, the orange flowers! 🙂
@@CactusCaffeine Aah, thought it wasm lovely 😊😊🌵🌵
How often does it rain in your area?? Very nice yard and setup.❤❤
It's April 16...and we had 70d temps all week..now it's back to 45d...wth!!! Well..I put 5 of my cactus plants outdoors..I guess they'll be ok
Weather can be so unpredictable. 45F should be ok for most cacti. As long as they are kept dry.
@@CactusCaffeine not dry...it's been light snow..but it's more like raining. I left 2 of them outside..my Opuntia and my barrel 🌵
Now it's getting warmer..its like 55d now..I think the cactus are gonna make it
I have a six foot table with all my succulents and cacti outside but I recently slowly acclimated seven succulent to live outside over a few months but they got sunburnt from a lot of heat while I was on vacation! So now they stopped getting burnt but there damaged leaves are starting to fall off! So they should be fine.
Where did you get the shelving that faces the sliding door (black)? Compact but holds a lot! Would be very useful.
From Amazon 😊 … oh wait, it might be IKEA 🤔 Sorry it’s been with me for a while. I can’t remember but one of the 2.
Love your videos! A question, after a cactus cutting and then sprinking with cinnamon, how long do you wait to put into soil?? Thanks!!!
Me encantan los cactus pero no comprendo tu idioma.
Podría poner la opción de traducción en los comentarios.
Is the stainless steel item a pizza oven?
Are you referring to the small silver square piece by the tree? It’s a small propane grill. It’s the only grill that I know how to use. 😁 My husband is into smoker grills.
😢😢
Did you get a comment from me on this video? It looks like it kicked me out?????
