Incredible achievement 🎉 now just don’t fall into the trap of thinking bigger is better as the kids grow. It’s not ! Kids move on too. So keep it simple and enjoy your incredible achievement every day in every year 😊
wish my only spending in life is mortgage payment, everything so expensive now, from utility bills to grocery, and don't forget property tax. I got lucky and refinanced in 2021, got very low interest rate, all of my other spendings in life cost a lot more than my monthly mortgage.....😂
Congratulations 🎉my grandfather said stand on your lawn bare feet the grass feels better with a paid off house. We are debt free it feels great my husband retired at 55 and I quit my job as a teacher at 50 so much freedom with no debt.
It’s the best feeling in the world to have that peace of mind and freed up funds! Paid our 15yr 2.87% mortgage off in 7 yrs. Don’t care what financial experts say about keeping a low interest rate , stability and financial freedom beats a mortgage every time!
Unless the “experts” are fake or trying to fleece you somehow, they don’t say just to keep the mortgage due to a low rate. They tell you that investing can make more sense if you are making more on the investment than you are paying on the mortgage.
When we paid off our last vehicle we started a vehicle account saving that same amount of $ each month so when another vehicle needed we can pay cash. We are senior citizens and we're debt free before we retired. Congratulations to being debt free! Such awesome freedom 😊
Kathy, that comment left by that viewer was very rude and disrespectful towards Theresa. That is why it is gone. I appreciate you calling it out. Whenever I catch something like that, I remove them.
We are debt free too. After my hubby was diagnosed with lymphoma stage 4 in 2019, he aggressively worked on paying our house off when he went into remission. I struggle with spending but he helps me see the bigger picture. Recently found your youtube videos and have been listening.
My husband and I will be done paying our mortgage off in 7 more years. This will be 21 years early on our 30 year mortgage. We will be in our late 30s/early 40s. I’m excited to 100% debt free.
This video is so inspiring! I started Dave Ramsey’s baby steps in January. We’re still on baby step 2 (pay off debt except house), but in predicting where we’re at, we will pay off our mortgage in 5 years (18 years early!!!!!!)🎉 thank you for posting this video, it does help to see that it’s possible!
I’m on baby steps 4,5 and 6 and it feels great. Keep at it. There is nothing like the feeling of debt free. I am hoping to pay off my home in 4-5 yrs or less. Unexpected bills are no longer emergencies but just minor inconveniences and we cash flow what we need. There is no feeling like it.
My therapist recommends against FB as she says it's "shallow relationships screaming at you like a two year old throwing a tantrum." It served a purpose at first, connecting to family, but FB contributed to my stagnation after a significant life event. Family that wants to stay in touch now uses my phone number to text. I have the birthdays of those with whom I am close, and send them real birthday cards every year. The cards keep me busy and are much more real than a meme posted on FB.
I deactivated Facebook in December, hadn’t missed it, my mental was much better. I still have IG and TikTok but those don’t take nearly as much time as Facebook did. I reactivated yesterday for my birthday…I scrolled for a few minutes here and there and literally just deactivated a few moments ago.
I retired at 62 with only $600k saved up, and looking back, I see some things I might've done differently. I didn’t really focus on saving and contributing enough or paying off my house early, which might’ve made retirement a bit easier, especially with inflation eating into my nest-egg. Not saying it’s the only way to do things, but it’s something I think about
I'm approaching retirement and having a financial advisor has been helpful. I started investing later than most, so relying on compound interest from index funds or bonds alone wasn’t enough for me. Despite that, I’ve managed to do well and am on track to retire with around $5 million
I usually avoid making specific recommendations because everyone's situation is unique. However, my experience with Emily Ava Milligan has been quite positive. You might find it worthwhile to see if her approach fits your needs
Yes, it’s learning new ideas and finding new skills, realizing that you have skills, ideas and creativity you didn’t think you had that is so rewarding. The money you save is kinda nice, too 😉
I don’t think I’ve ever seen more positive comments on a UA-cam channel, ever! That’s something to be proud of too! So glad to follow you and these positive vibes :)
Congratulations!!!! such a big achievement Jennifer! We started following Dave Ramsey baby steps 3 years ago, went all in, paid off our house 5 years in advance. It was a game changer, and I want to thank you for your kind support to all of us through your channel . It is doable, and it changes your mindset.
I paid off my remaining $328k mortgage during the start of pandemic in October 2020, last payment made in December 2022. Best decision I have ever made. Now at 51.5YO, family of 4, home and rentals all paid off with no debt whatsoever 😊
CONGRATULATIONS. Enjoy this wonderful feeling, freedom and pure joy. Sparkle big time in the knowledge of oweing not a penny to anyone, there's really nothing like it and through hard work, frugality and wise choices, you and your husband have achieved this huge goal......so happy for you.
Paid off my home in 5 years. Then saved 5 years of expenses, insurance, and taxes in a high yield savings account as my emergency fund. Now I place 70% of my paycheck in savings and live off 30%
I found your channel during the pandemic and heard about your mortgage free goal. It didn’t occur to me to try and pay off my mortgage quicker. I have been working on paying extra on my mortgage since 2020 thanks to you! Congratulations on your major milestone 🎉
I am sooooooo happy for you and your family. You have educated many people of all income levels and ages. The main takeaway that you have always conveyed is that it’s never too late. Don’t give up. Debt is a prison. I have watched your videos from the beginning and have watched in anticipation for this day. Congratulations Jennifer!!!!
Congratulations!! You're just beginning to know how it feels each morning knowing you have one less thing hanging over your head so you can enjoy your family and life even more. We paid off our first home in just over 12 years. We then purchased a second home for a family member and paid it off in 7.5 years. Recently we gave another family member a portion of our land and now have family next door! You only need to be a conscious consumer with precise goals to save for the dreams. This was done on one income.
Congratulations, some really good tips in this video. I’m still 12.5 years away but have overpaid £105,000 over the years so aiming to be mortgage free by 52.
This is amazing!!! 🎉🤩💜 My husband and I didn’t make wise choices with our money in the first 10 years of marriage and we’ve racked up a good chunk of debt. We finally hit the end of the line this year, where our mindset has changed and we are working to pay it off. This is why I found your channel, so I want to thank you for sharing and being so encouraging!
Congratulations on making it to baby step #7!!! You are a great inspiration. My goal is to complete baby step #3. In a few weeks I'll be 43% complete of this goal! You are speaking the truth about avoiding toxic content and learning how to be content. Great video.
I have been following you for years and has been patiently waiting for this moment. Congratulation, I am soooo proud of you and your husband! Job well done...
Congratulations!!! We are on track to have our mortgage paid off in December 2026…19 years early! It will be the best Christmas present ever! The only other debt we will have is our car and paying it off will be our next goal. When the time comes and we make that final payment, there are very few people in our circle who we will tell. You would think that family members would be happy for you and not jealous! Nope, not the case. They all like to say (sarcastically) “it must be nice!” My answer to them from here on out will be “yes, it sure is!”
You can hear the joy and tiny smidge of disbelief in your voice! I love this for you, what a gift to yourself, your family and daughter. I hope you are so so proud of your massive achievement! xx
Yeah!!!! Congratulations it’s awesome it’s been years that my house has been paid off. Don’t know how other people can afford a mortgage or rent even though we still have to pay property taxes and home insurance plus HOA but im very thankful with God without him nothing is possible ❤
Congratulations to you and your husband! The feeling is indescribable! Also, I think your daughter is old enough to see what you and your husband did through perseverance.....what a wonderful lesson for her!
Lana, you are absolutely right! For the last several years, she has colored in the lines of our house payoff tracker. She was thrilled to color in the last line. ❤️🤗
I paid off the mortgage for my first apartment in 6 years. I was 37 and single mom with 1 kid. Hoping to pay off our current one in a similar amount of time. It's easier than most people realize. You just need to plan for it
Congratulations, Jennifer !!! It’s hard work and much self discipline, we know as our home will be paid off this month. We will be debt free this month. Your home looks beautiful, Jennifer!😊
WOW, that is so Great!!! Congrats!!! Love this video!! So happy for you guys!!! We have over 52,000 left and it is one of the hardest things we have ever tried to accomplish. We are hoping it will take 7 to 9 months more which seems forever when you have been working on it for so long. Thank you for all your encouragement 😊 Sher.
Sher, it will absolutely happen! When it gets down to those numbers, it starts to feel harder because the finish line is so close that you just want to get there already. You can do this! 🤗❤️
Congrats! We’re in the process of snowballing our rental and primary residence, and aggressively could be done with both within 3 years. This is inspiring!
I want financial independence for my husband and myself. This is something that I was never taught as a child even later in my life. And I also want money. So I don't have to worry about upcoming emergencies. Or things that I would like to have a second hand car is fine with me as long as it doesn't need costly repairs ,that looks good and that it's good for the long run. Financial independence.
Congratulations! 🎊 🎉 how exciting 😀 my husband and I have been working on getting our mortgage paid off. We set the goal and started on 01/2022. This is year 3 and 2 more to go😊
Jennifer, you are a true gem! Your sensible and relentless dedication in being a great steward with financial concerns has truly paid off! I’m certain this attitude parallels that of your husband’s in helping to solidify an already wonderful marriage. CONGRATULATIONS! I look forward to more of your videos. 😁
Thank you Jen for the great video! This video came at the right time for me when my financial self discipline was wavering a bit! The want for a bigger house, bigger car was playing on me. Your video was the reality check I needed at this point in time! Thank you Universe for driving sense via Jen 😊
Congrats. I'm also trying to pay off my mortgage. I started with putting a little more each month towards the principal. After paying off, you can put money into a CD for security retirement or for your next vacation. I already paid for my Viking Cruise for Nov. 2025
Congratulations! 🎉 proud of you guys. We are working on trying to pay ours off early as well. Last month I wondered if I would be able to keep up this momentum, but your video is so inspiring. Thank you for all your tips and encouragements.
Wow congratulations Jennifer this is the video I have been waiting for! I am absolutely thrilled to hear that you have achieved your awesome goal, you really stuck to it and are a great inspiration
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉 We paid off our home March 2020. One week later and everything was shut down. We are debt free still. It’s a wonderful feeling. Planning to retire when the last one goes off to college in 3 years (I’ll be 54)
New subscriber here; thank you so much for this video and for your words. Congratulations on meeting your goals! I want to pay off my mortgage in eight years, I’m not a fixed 30 year since November 2022. I’m just not sure exactly how to go about it but I’ve already written the goal out and I think about it every day. I agree with the social media and not keeping up with the people ahead of you. Sometimes it’s so hard to do because I end up feeling less than all the time. It’s why I shut down my social media for this month and may continue it indefinitely.
New subscriber! Congrats!!! We are debt free other than house but we are working on it! I also just deleted social media so hearing you have done that years ago is encouraging.
Congratulations!!! Always look forward to your videos and have learned so much from you. Thank you for being here and sharing your wisdom with us! God bless you!
Congratulations, Jennifer! How free you must feel. You are an inspiration, pushing my husband and I in the same direction - we are paying off our mortgage. We are older than you but determined not to go into retirement with a house payment. Thank you for your perseverance and showing us it can be done.
I paid off the last $100,000.00 in January in 3 years. Thats $33,000.00 a year. I did it alone on $85,000.00 gross per year. My household bills were pared down to only $1200.00 per month during pay off. Now I pay the land taxes myself so the monthly bills are $1500.00 total. I now have lots of sinking funds, an emergency fund and investments.
Congratulations on paying off your house! My fiancé and I are working towards the same goal while also saving up for our future car so that we can continue to pay cash and not have any other debt. Your accomplishment is truly inspiring and motivates us to stay focused on our financial goals. Well done!
Woo hoo !! 🎉 Good going!! Boy, thats got to be a fabulous feeling! We put hefty extra towards the principle every month . We refinanced twice along the way & husband says that set us back. At least it's our only debt...& we are working on getting it paid. We're retired.
Congratulations, we paid off our house 3 years ago and it feels great. Now we are trying to save more for retirement. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to your weekly video.
Massive contratulations to you and your family Jennifer!! We paid off our first mortgage in 11-12 years and we've never had a mortgage (or any other debt) since then despite the fact that we've moved several times since then. It's is pure gold to be totally debt free!!! Is your next step early retirement??? My hubby and I both retired in our early 50's!
So Happy for your family! Congratulations!!!🎉 🎉. Thank you for keeping us updated and the continued motivation to focus on our goals. I’m on this journey and can wait to accomplish this goal in my life. Love your videos and positive attitude. ❤😊🎉
Congratulations.I’m paying extra principal each month towards my mortgage. I will have it paid off in next four years (total time to pay off mortgage will be 7 years) I have a fully paid off rental property so this passive income is helping me pay off this mortgage. Im doing it as a single person.I’m working part time as a nurse after 41 years. I’m also enjoying my time freedom and am very intentional with my very hard earned money.
Massive Congratulations!!! Your hard work really paid off. I really appreciate you sharing how you made it happen. You spoke about some things that I am guilty of, and those things really are holding me back from achieving my goals. I needed to hear it. Thank you:)
Congratulations! That's so amazing. We're in the countdown ourselves, hoping to be mortgage-free within 12 months! Can't want to have that feeling ourselves.
Terrific accomplishment! Congratulations!!!Thank you for sharing the news and for the wise words. I appreciate your style in how you share the great content of your channel. I aspire to own my home and want to focus on that. Continued blessings to you and your family. 💐👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽💗 Gracias.
Whahoooooo!!!!! I am soooooo HAPPY for you and your family. It has to be a fabulous feeling to be debt free you guys are so blessed. You've done the work, and the reward is so sweet Congratulations Jennifer : )
I paid my home off at age 48 making less than $60,000 a year being a single mom with 2 kids. It has been a huge relief.
That is awesome!
That is a great achievement. Amazing. Well done
Incredible achievement 🎉 now just don’t fall into the trap of thinking bigger is better as the kids grow. It’s not ! Kids move on too. So keep it simple and enjoy your incredible achievement every day in every year 😊
Amazing 🤩 congrats
Booooooom ❗💥
Great video! I paid off my home in 2019. One Friday, I had gotten paid and I had nothing I could pay on. I was so happy, I cried.
Amazing!

Is your grandfather Dave Ramsey? L O L, he says the same thing! 😂
Debbie, thank you so much for your years as a teacher!
Oh I do dream of an early retirement- 2 more years to go!
It’s the best feeling in the world to have that peace of mind and freed up funds! Paid our 15yr 2.87% mortgage off in 7 yrs. Don’t care what financial experts say about keeping a low interest rate , stability and financial freedom beats a mortgage every time!
You are absolutely right! The peace of not having it around is what we wanted.
Unless the “experts” are fake or trying to fleece you somehow, they don’t say just to keep the mortgage due to a low rate. They tell you that investing can make more sense if you are making more on the investment than you are paying on the mortgage.
Congratulations! My husband and I paid off our (second)
15 year mortgage in less than 8 years 🎉
Best feeling!
That is awesome!
Congratulations! Good job! 🥇🏆💰💯 Late to the party but paid my house off and became debt free at 69 years old.
Congrats ! What a relief 🙏🏼
A big congratulations to you!!
When we paid off our last vehicle we started a vehicle account saving that same amount of $ each month so when another vehicle needed we can pay cash. We are senior citizens and we're debt free before we retired. Congratulations to being debt free! Such awesome freedom 😊
Ohhhhhhh this is such a good idea !!!! Thank you for sharing !!!
Mortgage will be gone christmas next year for us, 6 years early. No car payments, no other debt. Congratulations from the Uk
Fantastic!

Never saw this coming. But I've never slept better after paying off our home in February.

Agree 💯 on the social media aspect. I deleted my Facebook & Twitter account 4 years ago because I realized the harm it was doing to my mental health
Same! Right around the pandemic time, I had enough. Don’t miss it a bit!
My therapist recommends against FB as she says it's "shallow relationships screaming at you like a two year old throwing a tantrum." Your video was the reality check I needed at this point in time! Thank you Universe for driving sense via Jen 😊
Big congratulations! Our goal this year is to update our Will. Thanks for sharing your story.
Awesome! Thank you!
Congrats. I'm also trying to pay off my mortgage. I started with putting a little more each month towards the principal. After paying off, you can put money into a CD for security retirement or for your next vacation. I already paid for my Viking Cruise for Nov. 2025
Congratulations! That's a Brilliant accomplishment and major milestone. 🎉🙏🙌🎉🎊❤
Jennifer, thank you so much! Hugs 🤗
Congratulations! 🎉 proud of you guys. We are working on trying to pay ours off early as well. Last month I wondered if I would be able to keep up this momentum, but your video is so inspiring. Thank you for all your tips and encouragements.
Yay! I am so glad this helped. You can do this! Hugs 🤗
So so so happy for you guys!!! We’re on a similar journey and it’s so encouraging to hear that you’ve reached this huge goal! Enjoy!!!

Wow congratulations Jennifer this is the video I have been waiting for! I am absolutely thrilled to hear that you have achieved your awesome goal, you really stuck to it and are a great inspiration
I have 2 years until I retire and want to pay off > $20000 in credit card debt before then. The sooner the better!!! Thank you for your expertise!
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
We paid off our home March 2020. One week later and everything was shut down. We are debt free still. It’s a wonderful feeling. Planning to retire when the last one goes off to college in 3 years (I’ll be 54)
Congratulations, Jennifer 🎉 Excited to have watched you the past several years and now cheer as you have reached this goal!
Gina, thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate it 🤗
New subscriber here; thank you so much for this video and for your words.
Welcome! You are doing great! Having a goal is the first step. Hugs 🤗
New subscriber! Congrats!!! We are debt free other than house but we are working on it! I also just deleted social media so hearing you have done that years ago is encouraging.
Nicole, welcome! Thank you so much! 🤗
Congratulations on getting this done ❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
Thank you so much!!!

God bless you! Thank you for being so kind 🤗
Congratulations, Jennifer! How free you must feel. You are an inspiration, pushing my husband and I in the same direction - we are paying off our mortgage. We are older than you but determined not to go into retirement with a house payment. Thank you for your perseverance and showing us it can be done.
You can do it!
Congratulations! So, excited for you. You have set an example that it can be done.
Hugs to you 🤗
Congratulations on paying off your mortgage! That is awesome! I am your people 😊
Yesss!!! Hugs ❤️🤗
That is awesome!
Man these pieces of advice are so so good 💯
Congratulations on paying off your house! My fiancé and I are working towards the same goal while also saving up for our future car so that we can continue to pay cash and not have any other debt. Your accomplishment is truly inspiring and motivates us to stay focused on our financial goals. Well done!
That is awesome!
Woo hoo !! 🎉 Good going!! Boy, thats got to be a fabulous feeling! We put hefty extra towards the principle every month . We refinanced twice along the way & husband says that set us back. At least it's our only debt...& we are working on getting it paid. We're retired.

You can do it! Thank you for all you do as a nurse! Hugs 🤗
