    Man, Bryan is my favorite flatpicker, and that’s saying something. So many incredible pickers out there, but Bryan’s music sensibility coupled with his technical ability is truly a treasure. Beautiful guitars Bourgeois. Nice job hooking me.

    Just great to see him play these Bourgeois guitars. That said if anyone should play those pre war martins and keep their history alive it’s this man.

    Bryan Sutton must be at top of the list for everyone that need an acoustic guitar on a record . Damn he is a bad ass - never gets better 😎🤘

      Absolutely, but one thing i've been finding out more and more when it comes to world class musicians is there is always one more name to add to the list. I recommend you check out Carl Miner.

    There are a lot of good flat pickers today. There are very few that have the depth in musical knowledge that Bryan displays. In addition, his right hand technique seems to be one of the most efficient methods I have seen.

    Sure glad he finished with John Hardy. Because the moment he started playing it, my MacBook began smoking. The second lead part caused it to explode. Damn fine playing, Mr. Sutton!!!!!

      Bryan is known most for his incredible talent in flatpicking.

    • @mrblank-zh1xy
      @mrblank-zh1xy 4 роки тому +2

      He sounds "fingerstyle" to you because one of Bryan's main contributions to music is his profound knowledge of the "crosspicking" technique, which makes it possible for a guitar to pick up intense note speed and regularity, making the guitar competitive with the tempo of a banjo.
      BTW this is why this D150 is being called a "banjo killer". It can sustain huge pressure on the bridge and is tremendously loud and powerful, capable of blasting sharp sound at the same speed and attack as a banjo.
