there're some wired bugs with the new update, like when trying to pick some ammo for the choosen rifle, the game just crashes! the same goes with when trying to see skin guns in the storage. Have you heard such thing from other players?
a game only really dies when nobody’s playing it anymore. There can be lots of reasons for that like the devs stopping updates, not caring about the game or its community, or players just finding better games to spend their time on. sometimes people just move on naturally because they get bored or find something else they enjoy more. at the end of the day, it takes effort from both the devs and the players to keep a game alive

I remember a guy says "The Lost Light is now imbalanced and too much on game mechanics which makes the game getting less thrill".

One thing that i can't understand is this game from super soldier theme to bizzare skin costume and weapon cosmetics that would kill the game. Hopefully they can put back the older style.
Tbh I made the switch to Delta Force over Lost Light because of how OP some gear and weapons are, like the katana that every pro uses to bully NPCs and low tier players, to robot pets that track you down and lead their masters to you, all the way to detection balls and thermal optic skill and invisibility... Yes, it feels like a super futuristic extraction shooter but with the meta being so imbalanced I might as well pick up delta force which currently has 2 modes and a future story campaign
Netties literally gave all the players the game but didn't give us an offline version..... I want to petition for an offline version of lost light that has local area network capability without affecting online score so that it's separated
You are correct. They have focused on the Chinese market because it makes the most money for them. The Chinese themes in the game are very strong. They dont even translate some of the text. However, if marketed correctly, the Global side would have also made money.
And I hope people realize that the whole reason that this game came out was actually a whole lot different than people think. A lot of the players that are like starving for loot really screwed up the mechanics of the game. That's why they had to get rid of Marauder mode...

All i know is that lost light is very far beyond from arena breakout when it comes to spending real money in game.. you can get weapon skins and clothes for free in lost light but in arena breakout most of everything is paid, they don't give free clothes again only in so1 to 4 and they forget that new players register everyday .. also most of the weapon skin is good and they only give weapon skin to shit guns like mosin... imagine!
I already expected the abandonment of this game like around last or last 2 years, especially by type of content the devs are giving us. Like.. from a solid tactical based extraction shooter game, into an arcade-ish filling with colourful skins and such or any pay to wins items type of content. And about ROE, I happened to play it like 7 or 8 years ago with an old device, and the only way for me to download this is by using a Thailand VPN. Although, the installation and the UI default language is in Thailand, there's a way to switch that language to English. For the gameplay itself, I gotta say it again since the last 7 or 8 years, the game has potential even if it's like a replica of PUBG and sadly they kinda disclosed the game and I haven't heard any news about it since back then. But as for the abandonment, I also don't know what to expect anymore, especially with a matchmaking that lets you fight against someone that has a higher tier of equipment. It's either a skill issue for me for not getting out of there alive, or it's just bs. IF they did make a comeback, I expect better things from them.
the game went full chinese ever sincee those two girls with a drone were introduced the theme of the game is dead,its now every single chinese shooter out there with no standards or whatsoever in terms of asthetic the loot idea too is dead,since the introduction of FPS mode the only reason to collect resources is to make money,crafting was shafted time and time again and now is only used to make gear,tons of current items are useless and as proof of such they never added anything new OR have given any new actual use to these old ones either the ballancing never was a real thing but now is completely dead,they refuse to make the armor and ammo dynamic a actual relevant thing instead adding heavy/piercing ammo stats and weapon/armor passives/actives that don't really benefit the game very well but feel more as a "patch" to the horrible ways everything interacts with eachother in this game (like the damn balls,why add a 10 second CD?just limit them to 1 per slot already or take the targeting through walls shit they have or even better,take them out and buff the goddamn glasses cause they were meant to be the counter for camping since the start) the only way they can save this game,in MY OPINION,is to turn it into a generic PVP shooter with the usual TDM,DM and S&D game modes,the overall combat with gun animations/sounds and overall sound-design (door sounds aside cause i don't know why they haven't fixed it yet) are still top-noch as far as mobile games go and we don't really have anything to go 1v1 on COD for a FPS mobile game that ain't a battle royale or a tarkov-like,i do believe LostLight could change that and the devs themselves seem to be taking notes since DogTag HuntCoin and other modes like the Knife one keep being brought back its just sad man,this game was soo good but they (fucking NetEase) eventully had to miss the mark and cater to the same audience they end up catering to

Lost light is my first extraction game and I never tried any other than it. I just hope the data wipe can be avoided 😭
