I'm the same way. Such a talented, beautiful soul that short lived. Its been 3 years, and it still feels like Cory's death is fresh on the news. Watching Glee is hard, but I still love watching it because its showing Cory before he passed away. The Quarterback is the hardest episode to get through still, without going through a half of box of tissues.

Even though I am not exactly a shipper of Finchel, but this is probably my favorite duet of them. Two reasons because you can hear the emotion in Lea and Cory's voices, as well as the fact that Finn took the risk of kissing Rachel during a competition and that shows love. It was a monday and I turned on the radio and the first thing i heard from the morning talk show was "Glee star Cory Monteith passed way in his sleep last night" The news didn't really hit me till that night when i balled my eyes out. Now if 4th grade I didn't watch the show but i knew every cover by heart and new the basic story buz my dad watched the show and told the important plot points. I was very attached to all the actors in different ways. I admired Lea for her voice because I love singing. I had a huge crush on Kurt at the time even tho as a 4th grader I was a hardcore Klain shipper. And my favorite part of glee music was the Finchel duets and their powerful love story. I also knew that they were a couple irl and that they loved each other. When I cried for Cory's death. I didn't cry because of me I cried because I knew how heart broken Lea must be. I cried for all the rest of the Glee cast who loved Cory and knew cory. Its been 4 years since and I still mourn his death and hope that he is ok. Glee changed a lot of my musical life and influence and Cory was a part of that. Love you Cory
