great song and fits the new paladin of 5e not so much for 3.5. We are not jury, judge and executioner, we must show mercy to even the most evilest races like demons. - 3.5 paladin bound by a paladin code that must be followed 24/7.
@@BardStrike all good, yea 5e is very different and hard for 3.5 players like myself to get into it. 3.5 had 5x more base classes and 200-400 prestige classes which levels got to very high, higest i ever got to was around level 26-28 epic level. fun character druid that wildshaped into pit friends and angels. even a book made for angels falling from grace and demons/devil becoming good. lorewise there even a lawful good succubus paladin. Yet paladin were limited to lawful good and only one code to follow, 80% of player base would fail and become fallen paladin, 3.5 paladin were pretty much real life cops in a sense, you can't hurt someone that unarmed or giving up even if it maybe a trick. most if not all lawful good gods really don't want a paladin that would hurt unarmed or people that tied up even if they are evil. in sense you follow the law, you are not the law itself. yea 5e has some good points and some bad points that did try to make paladins easier to play and not so hard to keep their code due to the many oaths now. even way keep up the good work on these songs!

I'm so glad you like it. I've never played 3.5, I started directly into 5e and I'm not very familiar with older editions, only from what I've read.

To be honest, I like the flexibility of using the character to define the alignment and not the other way around.
