No, default ap group will be used whenever we onboard a new AP with factory default settings. You can always create AP group based on your requirement and move the respective APs to the new group.
Hi, I have created a lab with the help of this ova " AIR-CTVM-K9-8-1-102-0.ova", but I don't have physical AP. Could it be possible to use virtual AP like I'm using this ova????
Simulation of AP in virtual mode is not something available now, if you are planning to tryout some small wireless use cases then use Cisco Packet Tracer.

RF profile is for overriding the global configuration of RRM. If the RF profiles are not in place then global settings will take effect.
