The American Hophornbeam

The American Hophornbeam! It is an understory tree that usually has a max height between 30-40 feet. The tree goes by a couple of other names, which include Blue Beech or Ironwood. The tree is quite resilient in the fact that it can resist a number of infections and pathogens. As a fun fact, my walking stick that I carry with me often is made of the same exact material 👌!
