The music, the realization of the moment of futility, the darkness of the plot that brought them to this moment, the fearless way they met death in battle caring for one another, best show of the century so far. I lived most of my life in the last one.
What an impressively built farce. I love this part. The entire invasion of Nazarick was orchestrated by Ainz from the start. Planting rumours around for the Empire's workers, putting out quests and tasks already knowing how they work, and counting on the greed of the adventurers and workers they set up this as both a test, and an excuse. A test to see what the world's best workers could offer (obviously ignoring the higher ranks), as well to see who would bite, and have an excuse for an unlawful entry. No wonder Jarciv is losing hair by the second.
Watching this for the first time was so epic. It’s beyond any power trip you can experience in any video game. Imagine playing one of those RPG’s. Y’know that stupid little fireball or weak attack you first learned at lvl 0? Then you reach 100 or something and you have too many newer/more powerful skills to put on your keyboard keys. But if this was actually you in game and you pulled out that dinky little weak attack (lvl 0) and the battle/tension for those guys was in real time face to face. I’d feel like a God in that moment.
How I love this episode, for the first time they realized that Ainz is a villain, since the first volume of the Light Novel he never cared about killing someone or how to kill, he himself said he didn't feel anything about it and everything was just for the benefit of Nazarick , anime adaptation was so bad that it wasn't until near the end of the third season that they found out that Ainz was in the villain role.
it was pretty obvious he wasn't some goody two shoes hero, do you not remember shalltear killing the adventurers in s1, what they did to the gator people in the beginning of s2, how he originally wasn't planning on saving the people of carne village, or attacking the royal capital at the end of s2?
@@fbejohanunknown9237 I knew it, but most of those who watched it thought that Ainz was just average, not so good and not so bad and this episode changed everything, Ainz's attitude of killing everyone and not caring has always happened since the beginning of overlord.
That is true, but to be fair, Ainz as Momon gave the Workers an out, and had reservations about the whole affair and they chose greed, and even then Foresight had the (mis)fortune of ending up at Ainz himself. I'm of the mind that it was still possible that they could've talked their way out if they brought up how they were there because of Arche's dilemma (maybe it would work, maybe not, but out of anything they could say, I think it would've given them the best odds), but Hekkeran played with fire with his attempt to social engineer his way out, and said ALL of the exact wrong things he could've said to Ainz that his anger briefly overpowered his emotional suppression. Hekkeran burned whatever potential bridge to salvation they could've had. Shalltear was supposed to be going after bandits, the adventurers that showed up to deal with them were in the wrong place at the wrong time because she was in her blood frenzy until Britta used her Yggdrassil potion on her, causing her to calm down, and at that point she couldn't let their offscreen lookout getaway or they would alert a city and guild, leading to her stumbling across the Black Scripture, also in the wrong place at the wrong time while looking for a Dragon Lord. Britta was lucky to survive the ordeal but her friends were collateral damage due to her blood frenzy... not that she probably wouldn't have killed them anyway, but we'll never know if she would've let them go or not if she had her wits. The bandits in question were bad people so not evil to wipe them out. The subjugation of the Lizardmen while bad, it did ultimately work out for them in the end.

Spared them means giving them a quick death

I feel sad for the two little sisters who are waiting for their elder sister to return.
I almost forgot this is a dark fantasy anime 🥺🙂
don't worry, their parents sold them to slavery
@@VNEF nooooooo 😭
@@golik133 i know but it's still sad
According to the author, because of the family debt, they get sold into slavery and die shortly afterwards.
Foresight: How much do you wanna flex?
Ainz: YES!
Ainz give time,to citizen run away from kingdom.
@@Reddagh To be honest they had plenty of chances to simply get out of Nazarick, but... ye, human greed.
LMAO, Ainz Sama is barely trying and still crushes the them

Ainz trying to act menacing

Ainz: come on dude 🙄💀
Guess they should've named themselves Hindsight 😂
Low blow…
Legendary episode. The reason I went and read the light novels
I felt so sorry for them
ゲロシーンがかわいくて何度もリピしてる
The Foresight were characters that deserved their own series, they were so cool 😞
in any other MMORPG they are pretty well balanced and well trained team than can grind in higher level dungeons for exp and items and survive. but here they are just some rude people who intrude momongas home
series how they steal from others hahaha
They're literally the most generic looking isekai characters lmao

I love how they think his orb is his weak point. You know, the indestructible world item? Yeah lmao
when the low level party enters a dungeon that just happends to have the bbeg and the dm decides to have some fun for a few rounds
it's not just the quality of the lightnovel that I really liked, but the anime was high quality too with exceptionally good intro music each season.
The worst part is he offered them what they wanted to leave as they found hoards of gold jewels and other items of high value before they enter nazzrick so this outcome was on them they got too greedy and paid the price
Cocytus grabbing shalteer is pretty funny
While this group is objectively intruders. They seem to be decent people overall yet they suffer a fate worse than death. Meanwhile, the arrogant swordsman who are keeping slaves with him gets to have a quick death.

This is 100% true, considering you could end up with Neuronist Painkill if you're insanely unlucky.

They ain't really stupid tbh. That's their job and that's their risk to explore a ruins or tomb.

Ainz orders his subordinate to pay these people to go investigate his home. He then dresses up as Momon and escorts them to his front door. Once they are inside, he gets pissed at them for intruding uninvited. It's so absurd it's almost unbelievable.
He asked them as Momon as to why they are doing this. The workers said "money" so he lined the first level with gold so they can take it and leave. Those who go deeper are on his mercy
One of the best dubs that exists, some of them are goofy but this one is absolute peak
When you max out as a mage and fight low level mobs barehanded cause you re bored

Couchytus and Shallchair
I love that he has the anime moment of thinking of the one he love's to give him the strength to defeat the dark lord and he still gets completely destroyed 😂
Imagine you're fighting a tough opponant, but nothing particularly tells you you're way out of your depth. Things are strange, like you can't land any blows and nothing seems to be working despite nothing hinting that this is anything but a normal monster. Then, they remove a ring and you magic caster, who is extremely confident in her abilities, instantly loses her lunch and screams about how there is absolutely no hope for victory. I would have ran. I know I probably wouldn’t have escaped, but its better than swinging what is essentually a twig at a giant.
War of words not weapons
the moment he took that ring off.....shit went side ways and they were dying
And people still act is if he's a hero or a good person. People truly have no morality and act as if being a main character means that morality is on his side.
I wonder if he is killed at the end kind of like cyberpunk where the Mc dies.
Aren’t they not aware that the anime is literally about a villain protagonist? This would like be watching an episode of the Soprano's and thinking Tony is "misunderstood" because he goes to therapy with Dr. Melfi
@@GreenTomas2372 People are wilfully ignorant. They did the same with Breaking Bad or Dexter. People love to humanise the monster.

Maybe its just me but this is the most saddest scene/deaths in this season.
Boss level 1000 vs level 100 players be like on a video game
Yeah tho they are like lvl 17 and he is lvl 100 lol game is busted for even letting you enter that area.
The funniest thing I have seen..this was too easy
I mean, they died the minute they invaded Nazarick so this was just style points + experimentation when you think about it.
😂
Why all the random cuts in the fight?
2:16 I imagine an isekai like this where the protagonists are defeated by the villain, without this story of protagonism or help from the script
I hate this guy. He deliver horrible and no mercy death to those who are far weaker than him by exerting so much of power but when he face some1 near to his level, he fight like a coward and even panicking
Hate it or not, Ainz was right to be merciless! After all, a group of adventurers invades his home, plays with his feelings and tries to steal what is his!? Analyzing coldly! He was within his rights!
Ainz really is a monster. Not a good person at all. These guys didnt deserve to die.
He is an anti-villain to be exact
They invade his home. So they deserve what they get.

I can't help but wonder what Ainz would have done if they were honest and apologized.
So i rewatched the show and i feel like i found a mistake. So here in this fight the elf uses magic arrow which shoots well magic shaped into arrows. But in his fight with shalltear he uses magic arrow as a buff.
Just be glad the anime didnt give us the wn ending for arche
can someone explain to me what's that chain on his neck? Isn't it Pandora Actor imitating Ainz?
The skills "Lesser Strength" and "Lesser Dexterity" are quite... Confusing 🤔😧
Str effect phsycal attack and physcal def
Dex manly effect accurate , critical , little speed , little physical
@@enariken8758 i know about that, I was confused of the “Lesser” part
@@koonehkun6404 that just explains the tier of the magic used, I don't know the exact tiers but I believe 'lesser' then ' ' then 'greater' then you reach the point where you use skill buffing (using a skill to buff another skill eg. maximize magic), so lesser dexterity is just the weakest dexterity increase skill
