      This investment was set up as an equity participation mortgage, where several parties can team up and share any income or proceeds. The percentage of proceeds will depend on the individual agreement set up between parties. In this case, the total profit of $114,000 was split at 33% for Alice and Wayne, netting them $37,620 in return for their investment.
