- Here it is, the much needed makeover for Left Unchecked, i always felt the original was..lackluster to say the least, it didn't fit the vibe that the song was trying to put out, So I fixed that! In my eyes this is the true version of Left Unchecked, and if you don't think that way, then spontaneously combust into a small puddle of fuck.

Personally, I thought the original was good. It did a great job of giving off a creepy Lullaby vibe. This though, is even better. It feels more intense, especially in the latter part of the song.
I feel like some remakes try too hard to be a new song, but this still feels like Left-Unchecked, just improved.
Edit: One thing is that I feel that the instrumental is a bit loud around the key change

Big fan of those slide notes or at least that's what I think it's called, you did such an incredible job once again! And even if I thought this song didn't need a touch up this really has a extra kick to it that is just as banging if not even more better and I love it!

I love that this feels like the exact same song but just so much better. Didn't realize this even needed a remaster until I heard how good this version is.
I'm gonna say right now I don't think this is imposter v4 or lullaby. Lullaby needed a coder a couple of days ago on twitter and something for imposter V4 JUST got revealed today. Either this IS for one of those things but it's not a release song, or it isn't and it's for an original project. Excited for it nonetheless though‼

As a huge fan of V1, I honestly preferred the more intense and loud instrumental of the original Left Unchecked, that was absolutely the highlight of the OG song to me, the leadup and start of the key change itself seemed also rather anticlimactic to be honest, but I think the vocals starting at 2:24 are an absolute blast, and I think V2 is an upgrade in terms of much of the vocals, not having that subtle hint of a low pass filter (please, that was the worst part of V1 imo), and a really, more ominous piano at the start (Which I honestly would've loved a more gradual transition to the glockenspiel...?).
Honestly, the only complaint I have is that the Defeat motif is gone. I've gotten used to that motif being their, but even without it this song slaps!

To be fair, Unknown Suffering also changed the Defeat motif. It's just a more drastic change here.

I'm going to give my honest opinion on this, even if I'm the minority that thinks this way: While I congratulate McHummus for taking another shot at this song, the original was just better by a long shot, in my perspective.
I admit, I did enjoy the longer buildup in the beginning, and the switch to major key near the end, and at some parts, the remixed track was pretty good to listen to.
But how I see it, it's just…too quiet, for what should be going on. Some people may think it's because it's supposed to be a lullaby like the title suggests, but when a Hypno's head is floating in the air, channeling all of its power into hypnotizing Girlfriend, I assume all of that Lavender Town-esque music and tone are completely gone.
The original had intense background music, and I enjoyed how it could be overpowering, considering Girlfriend was in deep shit once the first song was complete. Hypno's voice was also overpowering, considering he had just transferred all of his power to his head. To me, it doesn't make any sense why he was this quiet in the remake.
I don't know why this was so unsatisfying to me, but the final buildup before the music was overpowering at 0:35 felt completely lost at Hypno's new vocal.
In short, you did well remaking the song, McHummus, I guess I'm just more of a fan for the classics.

Yeah this new version just didn't hit like the old version. I have 2 main issues with this new version, one of them being hypnos voice at 1:58 sounding off and out of place and the second issue being how girlfriend is awfully quiet for most of the spammy last part. At least that's my opinion.
Love This Remake, The Song's beginning fully matches what I expect from a creepypasta based on a Deranged Hypno Taking Children, Unnerving, Somber yet tense, The Tense aspect Is more Clear near the end of the song and the small touches of improvement help. It's still Left Unchecked and feels like the original but better.

OK, as the #1 fan of this song I feel the need to say that this is more like a downgrade than a "remaster".
It's all good until 0:57 - 1:17, where they sing together, it doesn't sound as good as the OG imo, mainly because it doesn't sound that musical compared to the old one, but GF's "new" voice here is pretty cool.
1:17 - 1:56, I like that they sing with held notes, as that part was always kinda boring musically and gameplay wise. It sounds much better!
1:56 - 2:03, they FUCKED the music over. In the OG version, a lot of people claimed it was a great part, mainly because they don't sing at all.
It's supposed to be a small instrumental break, but here, their voices goes into various pitches which doesn't sound all that musical imo, just some random notes.
For 2:03 - 2:23, the whole thing is great. Reminds me of Retrospecter remixes in the sense that the pitch of the music goes higher at the end. It's way better than the OG because it's not just a copy paste of the start of the song, it's just higher pitched with a bit more beats in the instrumental which still sounds different than the start. (Which is 0:38)
2:23 - 2:42, oh boy. I "like" it to an extent, but the og spammy/hard part is definitely WAY better, and is more catchy than this, if this part is even catchy at all to some of you. The vocals here are just too all over the place for me to like it.
2:42 - 3:02, nice ending for the hard part on Hypno's and GF's parts, I think it sounds WAY better than the og here.
And for the last part, I personally don't like how the song ends at 3:02, the ending with the instrumental in the OG version just sounded better than a long Hypno note, but ig it kinda fits for a continuation of another song since he's gonna have 3 songs instead of 2.
Conclusion: It's mostly vocal-wise that they messed up in my opinion, and apparently I'm not the only one thinking that.
However, the instrumental is great and the addition of piano in it makes it sound really pretty, and I do enjoy most of the song.

I loved the original Left Unchecked, as it inspired me to write lyrics for it, and imagine it as a battle of wills between Hypno and Girlfriend.
This version? I love it just as much, if not more, as I imagine that same battle, but with a glowing psychic manifestation of GF's love for BF (represented as a glowing blue Boyfriend) fighting alongside Girlfriend as if he were her Stand, unleashing a final ORA ORA rush on Hypno when he attempts to attack GF with Hyper Beam at around 2:31 before fading away with a smile, and GF standing up to Hypno with what little strength she had left and say to the Hypnosis Pokémon "You have no power over me!"
Long Story Short: I think you made one of my all-time favorite Friday Night Funkin' songs. Great job!

As a huge fan of the original I must say, this is the superior version.
I find this almost too cluttered, with the original seeming very straightforwards and... focused. But, sure, alright, this is still cool! I'm excited to see how the chart and stuff changes to fit!

Now this is way better than the original. It now actually feels like Hypno isn't playing with you anymore. That feeling on the second half feels like he is done with the rap battle, and tries to end it as fast a s possible to kidnap (and hypnotize) Girlfriend at the end.

If you listen very closely to the instrumental in some places, you can actually hear a Meltdown motif. This is likely because Adam composed Meltdown but I'm not exactly sure. If you wanna go to where you can hear it the clearest, go to 1:02
Alongside the Unknown Suffering remake, this has to be the absolute best FNF song remake.
This is amazing! Not much else to it, it's just a great banger remake of a song. I have some nostalgia for some songs so sometimes remakes are bad but this one is great and sounds better than the original Left Unchecked by miles!

This song would be good if the original wasn't tied to a scary theme. It reminds me of people back in 2015 (ish) that thought it was cool to make dubstep remixes to everything. Seriously. Every song has a dubstep remix. This just reminded me of that. Not saying the song is bad, the original just has charm that this doesn't have. You don't have to add so much to a remix to make it better. You can't run encore (sonic.exe mod) did that really well in my opinion. All criticisms aside, I actually liked the intro to this song. I love the fade in at the beginning to the song. Super cool touch. Goodluck on other songs man. Plesse don't take this as me hating you.

Honestly, I remember hearing the leaked version of this and thinking it was garbage. But I actually like it a lot now! I think I noticed some last-minute fixes in there, too! Because I found this better than the leaked V2! (Unless they're both the same, then I guess my opinion's just changed since I first heard it)

I could definitely be wrong though but I just can't imagine pressing at the original speed with that new intro.
