well thanks ❤ for explanation , in Question 4 we can use the formula in case of less and more = x/(100 - x) *100 where x=30 so there is no need to do so much calculation , and the sign is determined by the first line , if there is more then we use " + "and if there is less then we use " - " sign

the math of 25:48 can be done like this if he gets 20 marks and fails by 40 marks it means 60 marks is the passing grade. since 40% is the passing percentage. 40/100 = 0.4 40% --- 60 100% --- 60/0.4 = 150 marks
Question 7 can be solve in a more simply manner He got 20 marks and he need 40 more marks to be pass So passing marks is equal to 60 and it is a 40percent of total mark's as mentioned in a question So, 60-----------40percent Therefore ? - - - - - - - - - 100 per cent ? Is equal to 100 percent *60/40percent Ans is 150

You are right this is the right way of answer but how both answers came the same that's because sir multiple the remaining % of died M and the remaining% of left people M = total 4050 so the answer came to 6000 but the correct way is yours.

in Q11 one candidate got 40% of total votes and yet lost by 1000 votes. if a person to win he must get more then 50% of votes, first person got 40% instead of 50%( so it is conforms the 10% of votes is equal to 1000 votes) so 100% is equal to 10*1000=10000 votes.
1000 votes should be subtracted from the 40A/100......same doubt
Same doubt
Nobody wins an election by 50%, you need 51% to win.
It was clear from the question that the other candidate got 60%.
So, 1000 votes = 20%
So, 10% = 500
100% = 5000 votes.
