Honestly hearing this would probably cause virtually every faction in the wastelands to unify against China. The NCR would fight tooth and nail(the army they sent to the Mojave had roughly 80,000 men and it was only a fraction of their army. With a draft being instituted a 1,000,000 man army is possible based on current population estimates) to maintain it's independence. The ncr would still probably fall but it would take the bulk of the Chinese army with it. Then the legion/house/yes man would be there waiting for a moment to strike. The idea of a Chinese invasion would make for a great fallout 5 plot.
Edward Sallow or his heir would be insulted that the Chinese leader has smeared the mighty name of Caesar. To get my reference, google Xi Jinping King Sager.
This would be epic for a Fallout game.
I imagine something like, china is managing to invade california but the NCR, the Brotherhood of Steel and the Minutemen along with the railroad try to help stop the Chinese invasion.
Postscript: I would like to see a Fallout set in China or a DLC.

Basically, like Morrowind, but instead of the 5 Great Houses, you need to form an alliance between 5 major factions in Fallout.

I think in some kind of twisted irony Bethesda will never feature a sinno-soviet faction/enemy in a fallout game for fear of offending the chinese market. Really shows how the very core of Fallout as a political gag is being abandoned in favor of "safe" and "censored".
