- This instrument is called Kalimba, it's very simple to learn. Canon is another my favorite music.

MrNax90 I would check eBay or something of the sort, but there are many sites that sell them and you could make one your own, but that’s in the United States, so I’m not sure if you have the same solution as me-a.j.

When I got my kalimbba and for someone with 0 musical background, I made a terrible mistake learning Canon in D as the first piece to learn. it was quite a challenge. I'm having a hard time memorizing the orientation of the keys. then, I just started with very simple songs (Ghibli songs are perfect for beginners).
God: "You have 3mins to live, what do you want to do?"
Me: Plays this song as I close my eyes

Me too, I first just saw it on Tumblr then watched/heard some other videos here and now I just want to play it.. the sound is so beautifully soft and calming and in comparison to other instruments it looks quite easy to learn

I learned this piece for 3 hours straight. I'm almost done :D
But it's freakin' difficult coz I got to learn this from memory. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how this works. And I skipped a part because I was so done with everything xD (Sorry for my bad English :') )

I thought kalimba was easy, but after I've tried one.. Fuh its extremely difficult
so start with the simple songs, like with any other instrument
I've never tried one, but as a guitarist and organ player, I think it is the easier instrument around. Just for the fact that you only use two thumbs! You'll master is faster I'm sure.
It's easy when you get used to it.
Ah fuck I bought one assuming it would be easy lmfao. Oh well. Got the rest of my life to get used to it. Looks really cool to be good at.
i got used to it in a week, what you guys on about. fastest instrument i've had learned. Tuning it on the other hand.
