    I watch a lot of bag reviews. Yours are especially helpful with your tight closeups of bag features. Thank you.

    I’m having a hard time deciding between this and the Synik 30 for one bag work travel. Both have good qualities!

      Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! I think the techonaut is a better travel bag overall for my preferences but if it’s for travel and daily use I would lean towards the Synik

    I love that you rec other comparable bags at the end! Very helpful. I wish TB would make a Synik 25 (which is 20in high as is the Synapse 25 - too long, sadly). Us short torso folk (but I'm 5'6") have a hard time finding bags that don't stab us in the bag, so to speak, and can hold enough for a three to four day trip (I am a lousy packer and hate to scrimp too much). More than 18.5in long is pushing it, but at the same time, anything shorter is too tight (the Techo clocks in 19.7in high). I've also tried the Evergoods CPL24 V2 - I love their aesthetic and that their bags ride high and tight. Super comfortable straps, like TB. Big nope on that one too). But I'm super loyal to TB. Love their ecosystem and functionality. They've prevented me from losing everything from cash to keys!

      Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I would also really love to see a Synik 25, seems like that would be an ideal mix for edc and minimal travel!:)

    Hey man love your reviews, very few peot go this in depth and it's really appreciated 🙏. I was wondering of you could do more Thule backpacks? Like maybe the Construct 28L? Or the Exeo 28L?

      Chase isn’t for everyone, but let’s be real, they are just bags, not geo politics. No reason to take any of this seriously.

    Hi, what are your thoughts between this and the GR2 34? Would you say they hold the same amount? Which do you prefer and why? I have the GR2 34 but this bag looks tempting.

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! I love the look of the Gr2 and it’s nice that it has some extra organizational options, but i might actually lean slightly towards this one, it’s able to hold about the same amount and it feels a little more comfortable IMO I also like the simpler organizational layout and how it combines with other Tom Bihn pouches

    Hi Danny, great videos. And I really like that you compare the bag with other bags as well. I have a question:I know that the T30 on paper is just 30 liters, but from your videos it seems to pack just as much as the Aer Travel Pack 3 and other 35-ish liter bags, like the CTB35. Is that true?

    • @jenno954
      @jenno954 Рік тому

      Seems your answered a similar question earlier, but comparing it to the Bellroy Transit Plus. Ok, so the T30 is more like 35-40 liters, thanks! Also, I would like to thank you for having roughly the same stuff you put in your bags, so it's easier for me to compare sizes. Very helpful :)

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  Рік тому

      Thank you for watching and I’m glad the videos and comparisons have been helpful! And I think that’s about right, I would say the techonaut can hold a similar amount to a 35l bag due to its simpler layout

    How would you compare it with Bellroy Transit Plus? If you need to select one which one and why. To me TB looks smaller but holds quite a similar volume if i compare items you packed in both? Thanks

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 роки тому

      Thank you for watching and tough choice! Due to its simple layout and the fact that the bag isn’t too rigid the Techonaut can hold an impressive amount of stuff (feels more like 35-40l of space). The Bellroy feels bigger overall but since it has a lot of pockets and padding it doesn’t feel like it can necessarily hold more, between the two I think it will mostly depend on how much protection and organization you want for your tech (if you want a more protective laptop sleeve, more pockets or a slightly more comfortable harness system I would maybe go with the bellroy)

  • @hoangcongnguyen9303
    @hoangcongnguyen9303 3 роки тому

    Hi, since you already made a comparision between this one and the Bellroy Transit + below and you said the Plus is smaller, then the 28l version would not fit what you have in the video right?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for watching! I wouldn’t say the transit plus is smaller than this necessarily, but it has more pockets and padding compared to the flexibility and simple layout of this one so it doesn’t feel like it can accommodate as much stuff. And yes I would say the 28l transit wouldn’t be able to hold as much as this one (I did a review on the 28l transit as well if you want to have an idea of how much it can hold)

    Price aside, between this and the Patagonia Mini MLC 30L, which was more comfortable to travel with?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for watching! Both bags are really great, for me although the Tom bags is more comfortable as far as the harness, I actually enjoyed the layout and space of the MLC more and is the one I would use more regularly
