Hi mate, I watched this video and it was exactly what I was looking for - your presentation style, content and information are superb. If I may ask a question, I'm totally confused with whether to use dry line or wet line for Sea Trout fishing, I notice you use a dry line or an intermediate dry line - now this is where my confusion comes in. I'm guessing that your actual flies are wet ?. So are you fishing wet flies suspended from a dry or intermediate line which are slowly sinking ?. I have managed to get membership on a Salmon and Sea Trout river in North Wales which I suppose is a small to medium river which can flow quite quickly. Do you think it would help me to use an intermediate floating line ? I suppose that's two questions, I apologise. Seriously looking forward to Part 2, All the best mate, I hope your channel really takes off.........Pete

Hi Pete, thanks for your very kind comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! If you are just getting started, I would advise using a floating line. The setup I demonstrate in this video, and that which I would recommend to get started is a floating line with a short intemediate polytip on the end. The flies you see in this video are all wet flies, meaning they are fished sub surface. Stay tuned for part 2, I had hoped to have it out by now but I've had a few camera issues and been otherwise too busy. Hoping to have it out next week.

Excellent. Do you always use a double hook?

Hi David, I usually use doubles or small Drury trebles. Occasionally I will use a single.
