my husband and son bought a paddle board last week , havent seen them since ha ! They go after work , my husband is 62 yrs and got bad knees but still goes !! if its not the paddle board that he is off on , its his sailing boat , anything on the water and I am always in the water . I swim 20 lengths every morning , think every thing is good to get you moving ! Enjoy xxx

Looks like a lot of fun! We have 2 kayaks and a canoe. With the same thought you had with the family on a canoe was so great it ended up being very heavy (depending on the type of material ) and a kind of awkward with weight and lifting position to get it on top of our car (awkward for me anyways I’m short). We ended up settling for 2 kayaks one pelican and an inflatable (we got for cheap) we started with our son as a toddler and have grown into having another baby. So now we are mom with toddler and dad with 4yr old. Just bring lots of snacks and maybe a twig to have for them to drag in the water to create a cool ripple for entertainment and wouldn’t be to sad if dropped into water. Also with the kayaks and weight. My husband can prep the car while I’m getting the kids ready with out any assistance needed from me. It can make the process faster while getting ready. Have fun adventuring!

I'm sorry. But neither of you were wearing life preservers. Very irresponsible. Especially with a Young son. I lost a Uncle to a boat rollover. My Dad was also involved. He was able to swim to the bank. Or I wouldn't be here if he drowned

Our paddle board has anchor points so you can convert it to a kayak. We do live in Cornwall and it’s used on the sea.
